Saturday match?

Why not a Friday one? Milan got to play on Friday before their CL match against Manchester. Fiorentina should have gotten that too.
The Italians really aren't helping themselves in Europe.

Good for us though. With so little time between this match and their CL match, Prandelli might opt to rest some players.

Personally I think that Fiorentina gave up on the 4th place. They are 8 points behind it and not only that they'll have to overtake Palermo, but in the last 12 rounds they'll also have to do much better than Juve, Napoli, Sampdoria, Cagliari and Genoa.
It's impossible and they know it.

They play the Coppa semifinal and CL. That's where they'll concentrate.

So, on one side it should make our job easier. Subconsciously the Viola players will be careful not to get injured and exhausted. But on the other side their fans will force them to play with 100% against the "enemy" Juve and Prandelli will like to bring back a winning atmosphere before the Bayern match.

The next 4 matches will tell us where are we. If after the next 4 matches (three of them are away matches to Fiorentina, Napoli and Sampdoria) we manage to stay 2-3 points behind the 4th placed team, then we can do it in the next 8 rounds, because on 6 of them we'll be clear favorites.

True. That's the worst thing about this team. You just don't know which matches are considered "easy" or "we're the favorites" anymore.

What I meant by "easy" are those matches when you'll be able to rest some key players and still get the job done. With this squad, you can't do that. I mean, ffs smaller teams are facing us knowing that they can beat us with a little determination. That can't happen. Of course injuries didn't help also.
