Ranieri should of realized that Catania were playing 11 men in the box......He should of realized to break this down is to put the ball on the WINGS to bring out the defender what was stupid WAS molinaro couldn't do that plus he is the worst LB i have ever seen.....

A comment on Palladino's shot when the goalie was out all he had to do was curl it in or place it.....free kicks wise who should of took them seriously when Cataina's defenders kept fouling us close to the box...

in order, words WE should have lost..1-0 now we are gonna see on the news and sites that we bought the ref...blahh BLAHHH BLAHHh...

Hey people who oppose Juve...F U and look at all the penalties against us this season...Learn the game

There isnt really anyone else to accuse then Ranieri on this one.

Here we are playing against a side like catania and instead of going for 4-3-3, we play 3 dm-s and one creative midfielder.

Secondly when things were not going right, Ranieri leaves his subs too late. Iaquinta should have come on already in 60 minute. Bringing on Marchionni instead was also questionable, sure he is a winger, but a player who still finds his form.

Its clear that this team needs more creativity. Why are we looking for players like sissoko?
Actually in the first half we were playing with Nocerino on the right, Nedved on the left, Zanetti in front of the defense and Tiago as attacking midfielder. At halftime, once we were down a goal, Ranieri thought it would be a good idea to take Tiago off and put on Marchionni, thus playing with a straight 4-4-2 with two DM's. So Ranieri actually made us more defensive at half-time.

:lol2:

I mean, what the hell is that? I've never heard of such mindless tactics like that. Fire his ass already... it's quite obvious he doesn't know what he's doing.

I don't agree with you saying we were crap,it's just not right....

Don't get me wrong,i hate this shiit,i expect Juve to go and kick
Catania at least 2-0,even if they are a good Home team...

But to call our game crap?
Sorry,NO.

I agree we have problems,we're not delievering but we still managed to control this game completly, and it was a penalty,he touched Ale,his pro mistake.

Ale was our Best Man,few nice moves, passes,he tried...
Marchionni as well did well.

We miss Camo.We miss Creativity. We missed the last pass/move & Lethal finish.

I am starting to doubt Ranieri choices....

Forza Juve.

P.S.

I really hope the board we'll bring in the right guys.

1 Great LB.
1 Great CB.
1 Great Playmaker.
Maybe ST also.

And Tiago probably not Juve material..i think he lost his chance...

Catania are a strong team at home. 16 of their 21 pts have been earned at home, so it was never going to be easy.

Regardless, we were wank in the 1st half, and it took a formation change to really get us moving. We were a more balanced team in the 2nd half in the way we built up our attacks from midfield, with Marchionni doing a decent job. Still, we fell flat on our faces everytime we reached the box. Either a poor cross, or our players getting in each others way (happened numerous times today. Trez/Nedved, Iaquinta/Trez)

I thought Ranieri's 1st half formation was total shit. How many times must it be proven than Nocerino is useless on the right? Our fb's are poor, so they need the help of wide players to move up field, hence y we were able to attack more in the 2nd half with Nedved and Marchionni out wide.

That looked like a pk to me. Ive seen much less given (Arsenal game today).

Hopefully this is a wake up call, for both the players and Ranieri. Management as well, who should be looking to bring Giovinco back more so than signing some1 we dont need like Sissoko.
i am sure he will sign sissoko and blasi

Easily our worst match.
And then again, when i think of Parma and Atalanta, we've been this bad few more times this year so it's not only a coincidence.

The weather didn't help also but hey, are we a technical team so our game would be influenced by bad weather ?
I think we didn't create a single chance today. 2 or 3 half chances and that's it.
Our fullbacks can't make a cross, our midfielders can't make a pass and the only one who was supposed to create our game played like a serie C veteran who can't run, can't pass and he surely can't defend.
Still, our worst man wasn't Tiago and it wasn't Molinaro, it was Nocerino.
Nothing from the Nocerino we know. He didn't intercept passes, didn't win balls, didn't make a pass. All he did was fouling, and most of the times the fouls weren't necesery.

We'll play some great games this year but we'll have few more such pathetic games, that's for sure. Wanted to admit or not, we don't have the quality to fight for scudetto.

Ratings

Buffon N/A
He didn't have any work to do today. The goal couldn't have been saved even by two Buffon's

Salihamidzic 5.5
Not much from him either. He didn't make more than 1 cross and defensively he had lots of problems against Vargas and Mascara

Molinaro 5.0
Well, when God won't give you talent to play football you can partly compensate it with hard work. But if you have absolutely no talent to make a dribbling and a cross then performances like today will happen very often.
But what's even more sad is that the only one who could play LB was Chiellini and we had 0 centre defenders on the bench.
Comparing him with Vargas on the other side, he looked funny. He did try a lot, he did win few balls but it was all absolutely useless when he couldn't have done the simple things a LB must do.

Legrottaglie 7.0
Our best player together with Del Piero. I didn't notice a single mistake by Legro and he saved our butts in one or two occasions

Chiellini 5.5
He was fighting and he also tried hard but tonight he was bad defensively

Zanetti 5.5
Quiet again and he was doing his job but i felt like their midfielders were easily passing through our midfield and it's aprtly his fault.

Nocerino 5.0
Our worst player imo

Tiago 5.0
His worst match in Juve's jersey. We didn't have a single shot on goal in the first half and since he can't defend even if his life depends on it, Tiago's job is to at least create chances. He failed today but it would be a mistake to get rid of him.

Nedved 6.0
He was trying and trying but the others didn't read him well. He was our only threat for big parts of the match. Yet, he failed in all his attempts and he was way too nervous.

Del Piero 7.0
The only thing i mind about his performance today is the way he keeps the ball too much. But then again, when no-one runs and when everyone is out of position where could he had given the ball ?
Lots of fouls over him, some very nice crosses and he scored the equaliser.
Some here say it wasn't a penalty but to me it looked like a clear foul inside the box.

Trezeguet 5.0
Well, what can i give to Trez when he didn't have a single chance. I know it's 99% faults of the ones he depends on and they didn't give him a single useful ball, but when you're invisible all the time and when you don't have a chance and score a goal, you don't deserve more
--------------

Marchionni 6.0
He was good. Not the best player technically but he was the biggest problem for Catania's defenders. Not that we played much better with him on the pitch but we were certainly more dangerous than we were in the first half

Palladino 5.0
I'm disappointed with this guy and today he's been very bad, again

Iaquinta N/a

Ranieri 5.0
Our team had no clue what to do with the ball, how to control the midfield, how to attack. It must be his fault.

So who will play as LB, Chiellini is CB and would not want this role.We all know that we need LB, not only you.

And I dont care about crushing someone's confidence, Tiago had so many chances so far and he is not fucking kid , but he WAS the worst player tonight.

even if we loose 3 games in a row, Ranieri will not be replaced so keep farting and pray for father christmas to come early
Salihamidzic can play left-back... he'd do a better job that that idiot Molinaro. Hasan plays left-wing for Bosnia.

Hell, I'm sure Nedved could be a better left-back than him as well.

Ranieri was shockingly terrible with his substitutions today...can anyone tell me why he waited so long to bring on Iaquinta?? after Salis performance today i cant help but think, he must be a better option for lb than Molinaro..Molinaro cant cross to save his life..while Salis overlapping runs were dangerous and so where some of his crosses..

I thought Mascara, Vargas and Edusei were the standout players for Catania today..while DP was Juves best player..

I noticed that as well, perhaps Nocerino was our worst player out there considering his talent. But I never thought his passing was good, and today was no exception.

The fact is, if we want to win Serie A sometime again, we can't play with two defensive midfielders, one who cannot pass and one who can only make the easy passes. We'll qualify for the Champions League but that's about it.

Ranieri wants to add another defensive midfielder who cannot pass, and does not see a problem. Why can all of us see the problem and he can't?

Ranieri couldn't even manage an Excel spreadsheet, let alone Juventus.
