In the 2nd half, I lost count of the amount of times they just ran past/through our back four like they werent even there. We desperately need a new LB and another imposing CB who can organise the defence, because Chiellini just isnt that player. He was beyond terrible today, the worst individual performance of the season by far.

Players better lift against Bilan next week, because if we lose this then we are back to square one and the same problems of last season.

We played again against an utter shit team that has one decent player in Gomez

Andujar gifted us the goal,yet Chiellini and our shit LB once again combine t hand the opposition a goal

I also thought Pirlo has been exceptionally poor at taking corners and free kicks..never seems to pick anyone out at all and today i also thought he was poor overall

Poor tactics by Conte,he was outclassed by Montella hardcore..playing Matri again alone when he carved out nothing against Bologna shouldve made it obvious that Matri just cant do it on his own..but yet again Conte decided to pull that off and for that I hope the players say sthing cuz its utter bullshit that we dont play 2 strrikers against a team like Catania

A tough stretch of games coming up and i gotta say after the early optimism, the last week has completely eroded any hopes i had of us winning consistently

Krasic had plenty of runs in the seconds half and got two shots of on goal. He was the only player getting it forward successfully and made accurate crosses one of which should have been put away by Del Piero. Buffon would be a worthy MOM as well.

elia - good first half for his first official game...he tried but he couldn't pass his markman but optained the throw in's
krasic - conte had a good intution to keep him because after that 1st half everybody wanted him out..the coach shouted a bit and milos started to play better. he needs to focus, to deliver that last pass..the biggest miss for juventus was his because he didn't passed it
pepe - good game..good continuity, pepe delivers, his long shot is better per game, he has balls, he delivered but matri wasn't so inspired today
matri- as i said, not a good game from him, those cb's contained him very well, he needs that ss next to him, he needs the ball down too , not only crosses

antonio conte - what a ridiculous change of system. Good thinking at half time, our team looked like a true Juve for 30 minutes but what a stupid change (dp for pepe) in a 4-2-3-1 our Captain was the spearhead of attacks at 37 years. Not cool at all antonio. Then he brings up quag in the 81st minute ..a bit late imo. He needs to stick to a system, he needs to use that 4-2-4 and stick to it. We desperately need to play with an ss and a prima punta. He needs to talk and find out what's the matter with chiello. Krasic's second half was light years ahead of his first half but because of his first half fail is why I think Buffon takes the prize...when Buffon was called upon he was ready all game, not just the second half.

Today, Buffon is the main reason we walked away with 1 point rather than dropping 3. We could have easily lost today.

Next Sunday can change the entire mood for the remainder of the season. If we lose, which is likely as its our first match against a big side then we've essentially had yet again a very shitty start to a season. So far we've had relatively easy fixtures compared to Milan & Napoli who at the beginning of the season looked to be our main contenders.

One convincing (and veiling) display vs Parma, followed by a win in Siena, and then only gaining 2 points out of 6 vs lowly Bologna & Catania. A loss against Milan = shit start

I'm not sure what the thought process was to put Vidal as an attacking midfielder, clearly looked out of position. I didn't like how we started, Matri should have had another forward next to him (in place of one of the wingers) if the team was going 4-3-3 to start with. Sort of like below. Or just keep the 4-2-4 formation from the first three games.

Few things I didn't like. In the dying minutes Grosso runs half the pitch and tries the shot, when there were two players in the box. Vidal's clumsiness only outdone by Chiellini, both really had a few awfully lazy pieces of play. Krasic almost gifted them a goal as well late on. Good players were probably Marchisio and Barzagli for the most part.

Juventus were quite lucky that Catania were wasteful, they had the best opportunities and could have had 3 goals in that game.

Regarding the 4-3-3. On paper it is by far the best formation with our current squad of players, for some reason it didn't work out. I think it was well worth a shot, trying to see what we could do with that formation.
