I don't believe 8 wins and 1 draw in 9 games is anything to complain about in the league. Considering we've played Udinese away, Fiorentina away, Roma home, Catania away and Napoli at home.

Those are 5 tricky games.
exactly...
add genua away to that list. apart from the top games against napoli and the roma and milan sides those are the most tricky games of the season and i firmly believe that no other team in serie a will even come close to getting ten points against udinese, fiorentina, genua and catania away...

you know i like juve and all but this was a disgusting win for you guys, i wonder how many months of media blackout agnelli would have announced if you were on the other end of this match
i got the match summary from a la liga fan and i thought she just bought into the whol scandals juve is surrounded by, then i saw the match and it truly was pathetic
not saying its your fault or anything...

How do you know they interpreted it that way?
I don't! It was the commentators that said the ref had given 'offside'.

How does this even show anything??
Gomez was uninvolved in the play and wasn't offside in any case.
Did the post play a pass to him or was the post offside? What the hell are they trying to say with some still image and two circles?
Goal fair and square - although Catania played the ball out before that play so justice was served.
Nah, it was just a shit decision.
What you posted only means that you wouldn't flag someone offside if they were standing in an offside position when a shot went flying past them into the net.
You would flag them offside, however, if the ball rebounds to them in an offside position.
The key moment, in either case, is when their teammate plays the ball forward, not when the ball rebounds.
True! That is how I would personally interpret it. But I thought we are trying to fathom out why the ref (according to the English commentators) gave that decision.
I had another (and another) look at it again! It seemed to me that there was a catania player level with Asimoah, (last Juve player apart from Gigi) and he was restraining/preventing Asimoah from getting to the ball. Personally, I think that was a foul, and as it occurred before the ball bounced off the post, the ref should have called a foul/FK to Juve. However, the ref never saw it or the 'offside'; the assistant ref(s) did. It was after consultation with them that he disallowed the goal.
There is an interactive thing on the FIFA web page: -

Perhaps someone can find out why the commentators/ref said offside.

Funny how no ones talking about these incidents.
Exactly! The ref missed a lot of what they did.

That punch on Pogba was disgraceful and I hope Spolli is retrospectively banned for that dog shot. Clear red card there.
I absolutely agree!

Revised serie a table if there were no referee mistakes. And guess what, we're still top.

Of course we are! We are the best! Juve does not need referees' help to win. We only ask they officiate the match impartially/ 'fair play'.

Lets not grasp at straws. We got a call that we shouldn't have got, but that's football and we're all glad for the three points. Let's not try to find excuses. It was a shit call and we profited.

Top the table with 5 points clear which is better than our current 3 points lead...

Ref or no ref I think its obvious we are the best team in Serie A and no matter how it ends I think we are by far the better side.
We would have killed any competition in Serie A and become a real force in europe should we sign a great striker
Someone like Cavani would make us much stronger
Someone like Jovetic might not score as much as Cavani but would make our attack better and less predictable
IMO our only great forward is Vucinic
The rest are good at best and yes it includes Giovnico

Bit confusing because there is certainly no friendship between the two and not a lot of similarities either.

Must have a lot of time on their hands to post on other club forums on top of what would likely be their own club forum too.
We also have a Bayern fan as a mod. It's insane.
