We were poor in spells in the first half, but had some good play too. Andujar make some good stops to deny Vucinic, Pogba and Giovinco.

One thing that annoys me is how slow we are to counter at times. A chance could be on but we slowly dribble up the park or pass side to side which is frustrating.

Nontheless, Catania has been a difficult place for us in recent seasons and 3pts after an away champions league match without arguably our most in form player is decent enough for me.

On a side note the refereeing from everyone was terrible. In the build up to their "goal" the ball had gone out of play, we should have had a penalty on Chiellini and almost every offside decision was wrong.

I don't think we played that bad. With another game in 3 days and then 2 must wins next week it made sense to try and save energy once we were ahead, but the problem yet again lies at our attack where they must and should have ended the game for us especially after they went one man down, and that caused the extra pressure on us at the last quarter or so.
Also it's obvious Conte is busting his balls trying to put it in Kojo's thick skull to go forward up the pitch and cross, he was trying to do it at the start of the game a coupla times but then he forgot and got back to his usual midfielder style of play.
It just didn't make sense while PDC had a very decent game last week with a lot of dangerous crosses, Asamoah was preferred again especially against a team like Catania.

I dont know, The Catania goal obviously should have been given but I don`t see why our`s should have been disallowed
Bendtner seems to be in line with their defence (terrible finish by him btw)
Anyway I agree with Marotta that if Catania would have gone a goal up we would probably overturned it
