Still feeling the effects of the Norshalala game and not excited for matchday for the first time in a while, but some goals could put that away. We tend to struggle against Catania generally, particularly away so not expecting a walkover by any stretch of the imagination.
Lichtsteiner's game isn't about beating his direct opponent (he doesn't have the pace and technique for that). He wins the ball often, plays 1-2's,his stamina and he make runs for 90 min's which often fucks up the shape of the opposition's defence. Isla offers a more direct style and is more technical.
The thing is, when the opposition plays a similar system Licht is forced to play a lot of 1 vs 1 battles which is something he needs to improve on.
I love Lichtsteiner, I think he's one of the most underrated players in our squad.
