5 wins in a row and we are in the top3.

Lets stop beeing peasants, please.
What? This doesn't even make sense. The top 3 would each have to lose 3 of their next 5 matches for this to occur.

We're at least 10 matches from being top 3 imo, even if we have a run of good form. I mean, there's pointless doomsaying like went on last season...but this year we are 14th in the league with 9 points from 8 league games. That's appalling any way you look at it, and certainly cause for serious concern.

stop calling others peasants, and respect the difference of opinion, i think it's pretty clear what position you have regardless of how things turn out

also @Zacheryah this has nothing to do with derby or not, what sucks is that we did not plaay to win this game against a pretty poor inter which despite our current form only managed to trouble us with long shots. we played the way a provincial team would play us, showed too much respect and not enough cojones.
it offcourse has to do with that, cmon man.

It is very appaling, but the next 5 games are where we decide how our season will go

Considering Inter is 8 points ahead of us in the table, I don't know how you can suggest that their should be no cause for concern.

By the way, our scudetto competitors, Roma and Napoli both had convincing wins this weekend. While we looked damn mediocre.

really? last i checked we played really pumped up in derbies every time we were behind in standings to inter, our performance was flat, and i am being generous. So yes this has nothing to do with derbies, our mentality in serie a is very alarming.

:agree: and this result was perfect for both

Lazio beat Juve to the title in 2000 when they were nine points behind in March. Juve can definitely claw back nine points in October.
:agree: people conceding the title in October. Fucking ridiculous. Still plenty of football left this season, and let's not pretend Napoli, Roma and Inter won't drop more points as the season goes on.

We need to find a way to control more possession. The answer, of course, is Dybala playing more and dropping off the defensive line like Tevez did to help us keep numbers in midfield.

We play way too frenetically. Everything goes toward goal. I'd like to get back to the last few years where we sometimes just sit on the ball and drag the opposition around all match.

We will have to wait for that for a while at least ,maybe he will never fill that hole in our team.

We are Juve.We must target the Scudetto, always.I don't buy that transition thing.Especially when loser teams like Roma.Inter and Napoli are contenders. We have much weaker team when we win our first consecutive scudetto.
I agree with you but we are past that point now since our mercato forced the team into a transition season instead of smoothly phasing out departing players. This happened and is a fact now that we cant change. Given where we are now and the squad at Allegri's disposal, you should not maintain the same expectations as before. A title challenge and qualifying from the group stage is good. A scudetto win and CL group stage qualification would be a great recovery.

This optimism assumes that their good start this season and their improvement is temporary and they will go back to being their old selves. It also assumes that our troubles are temporary and we will go back to our old selves. Its possible yes but so far I am not confident that we will be able to go on 10 match winning streaks this season.

Didn't manage to watch this game yet but it sounds like more points dropped by a stupid Allegri decision. We need develop cohesion and understanding between Morata - Dybala - Cuadrado. There's plenty of creativity and goals in that front three. So why he isn't playing Dybala I don't understand. His being on international duty is no excuse.

Both starting strikers played international duty with one getting injured. If he really used international duty for Dybala as an excuse to not start dybala then I don't know what to say.

Some of these no brainer decisions have been left out for one reason or another. I understand the 352 with no RB but even Barzagli as a RB he did fine.

I guess starting Zaza he wanted a hardworking striker to track back and help defensively or apply pressure?
