Here is what I thought of the game:
Juve had the game under control, and cagliari did not threaten Juve much till the last ten minutes. The game was very aggressive from both sides, and both teams were wanting the win, and at the end a wondergoal by Zola give Cagliari the draw.
Buffon was shaky at the beggining of the game but as the game progressed became better and made a couple of great saves.
The Defence played a fairly good game, remember Juves defence is strong mot based on individuals but because they play as a unit. But as the tempo rose in the second half the defence werent alert to Cagliaris chanfe of pace, and that caused us some troubles. And saying that Zola out jumped Zebina is stupid as Zebina was out of position and wasnt out jumped. He Jumped late and was far from the ball.
The Medfield was good defensivly with Emerson and Blasi and crap in attack with camo and Nedved, who were out of sorts. And whoever says that Nedved played well must have been watching another game, as he was invisible the whole game and had one contribution which was the assist to Emerson and thats it. He also commited some silly challenges along with Camo I was surprised they didnt get even a booking.
The attack didnt have very good support from the defence, and Zlatan played very well. Juve bought Zlatan to bring some flair to the team and to be adventurous, so when he attempts to dribble past players he's only doing his job. His passing was great and I dont remeber him loosing the ball while dribbling, unless he was fouled. As for Trez he will always be useless without support, so he didnt contribute to the game at all. DP wasnt that good also, but I felt that if he would have been playing as a starter he and Zlatan would have produceded something better than the Zlatan Trez combo.
I also find it shocking when I see juve fans saying they want DP out after the signing of DP. I mean come on, who said we cant have all four at the same time, You always say that we dont have any depth in our squad. And its not like Lippis Juve where DP plays no matter what, Zlatan DP and Trez play according to their performances now with Cappelo. He is in no way a liabilty its not like he had been performing poorly lately. Ok he may not be the player he used to be but who cares he brings Depth to the squad. The way I see it Juve will have finishing with Trez, flair with Zlatan, Speed with Mutu, and Reliability with DP.
Now thats a great Juve attack reminds me of the one in 94/95.

Its not fair to show both Milan and Juve on the same day as it pains to say but the difference in class apart from at the back is embarassing.
They have creative wonderful players on the pitch who are not only very classy but they work so hard and their off the ball movement is wonderful.

Great teams are determined by how good the midfield is and the dynamism between those players and in our case we have nothing there
Before the equaliser, I was actually thinking what the hell is up with Appiah, how can you not be able to pass the ball at all, then he and Dp contrive to mess up for the equaliser as Dp as is his wont goes to the left back position where he is not needed and starts to play keep ball there instead of not being there at all, gives to Appiah and of cos he loses it and they score with Zola outjumping Zebina who was trying to shoot down a bird as he was not watching the play.
Most were waiting for the return of Trez, like they do not know the kind of player he is, a player who cannot run with the ball, kick the ball if its not a volley, and without teamates he is absolutely hopeless. This is what Trez is about, plain and simple, its not lack of match play or anything like that, that is all he has to give, goals, thats all
Where we do have the perfect partership right there, a player who takes more touches than necessary and one who takes as litttle touches as possible
We cannot attack with pace as we do not have a player who can play a killer pass, as they all have to be very comfortable before passing the ball, they cannot run into space as most are wooden legged
Blasi is too limited as a midfielder, yes he can win the tackle and all that but even Gatusso can now do things with the ball, Blasi only passes the ball backwards or sideways
Nedved for all his plaudits, unbalances the team as he does sweet FA, for 80 minutes and then at the ned he runs and does something good and he gets 8 out of 10 in the press but they forget all the times in that game where he has done very little or anything at all.
He is no more good on the left which is a shame and he is not creative so duh!
I watch Udinese and they have players like Pizzarro, Di natale and Jankulowski and I just wonder why Juve overllok such talents
Pizarro can dictate a game, and with Emerson beside him he would become a bigger talent and at least more well known, Di Natale is full of running and for me better than the much hyped Cassano and Miccolli.
Zlatan, well the Swedish guys aredefending his honour while others are bashing him, well, I am in the middle, I do not subscribe that he is great as a new comer he is having a good season, nothing like kaka, last season but good nonetheless, lets see what happens next season when they are used to him a bit and for the amount of time he ahs started , he should score more, but he is not useless, annoying maybe , but not useless
