Trezeguet is a striker, he's on the pitch to score goals. Nothing else. IMO you must leave players like that on the field, cause suddenly they shine and seconds later I declare them gods. :)

Honestly I think he do deserve it. Such a great debut, as i said before is really rare. So you got:
ADP: totally out of form. And it feels like he's skill just slipped throw the window. He made like a double heel recently and an avarage header wich has been the "ADP-should-play"-campainers best arguments, great stuff.

Trez: just came back from an injury, need some playing time.

Zlatan: Getting more and more confidence and makin more and more right decisions. Got more potential than both and he proves it the more he is on the pitch.
This is what you guys ALWAYS have to say, try to change, and it's not true, he was good in his last couple of matches...

Thank you dude, this is the best description of DP I have ever read....In my opinion he was never a good captain to start with, his character is far away from being a leader.....he i much more of a follower and he falls behind easily, and if he is hooked with a strong leader he will perform at his best.....
He was never good captain? oh c'mon Jeeks your way better than this, you want him to scream and beat his team-mates just like other captains, Dp is the captain and he's a Leader, it's hard to go further this year without Him, and soon you'll know what i mean !

Lets fire Cap as our coach and hire Denco (I'm serious)

The whole tactic Cap uses is to score 1 goal, and sit on the lead. Does this not remind you of a certain former Italy coach, who would get the lead, then shut down the offense, sprinkle himself in holy water, and pray for the result ??

FROM THIS POINT FORWARD, I WILL REFER TO CAP AS "TRAP" !!!!!

This completely stupid tactic doesnt work. It wont work in Serie A and it will NEVER work in the CL. We've been bitten again by ridiculous tactics, and Moggi and Co. dont look to change it

Also, while we are talking about TRAP, I am a little confused at his decision to leave DP out of the starting lineup. Trez just got back from injury, and is not fully fit. Wouldnt it have been a little smarter to start DP, and bring Trez on late in the game for the final push ?? Oh.. I forgot, we dont attack after we score a goal.....

I know TRAP doesnt like smaller strikers ala DP and Montella, but has anyone watched L'Aeroplanino lately ????

Also, I am convinced that Nedved would be more effective playing behind the strikers in a 4-3-1-2 formation. He is useless out on the left

Once again, Zlatan holds the ball too much, Camo cant pass, Zebina's true colors shine, and Appiah doesnt belong on a football field

Kiss the scudetto goodbye !!!!

Welcome to the Club Brother, you can call me "Anti Cap"

I completely agree with Jeeks, DP is the captain because he's, unfortunately, the symbol of this club, not because he has the qualities and characteristics needed for a true captain.

Didnt I already explain what a real captain is like azzuri?

Don't count on that.....Barca wouldn't wanted to offer more that 8m€...... that's a paradox knowing that my freind Sead Ibricic from FC Zagreb is worth that money in Ukraine.
Currently one of the biggest Bosnian talents I might add ;)

Vialli was a great captain and a great leader and motivater, who currently has these characteristics at Juve, No one I say. I think he is the best captain the squad has to offer currently.

I think Nedved has that warrior mentality, and maybe even Cannavaro and Buffon.

Canna can be very vocal when he wants.

But IMO, and I've said this before, the best example of a true captain is the guy in my avatar.

Nedved does have the warrior mentality but I dont think he could lead the team, I believe Buffon is the best we could offer. But still none would be a great captain.
But at least our captain plays with his heart as it seems.

Capello doesn't like players of Del Piero's stature and style and so Alex will be made to suffer. Trezeguet should never have started this game before him.

Cagliari game was the most disappointing match for juve although they played relatively good cause they could not add to the goal or hold to it:(

I totally agree with u! Capello is much to defensive. Why not try to get 2 or 3 goals once:fero:
