He wasn't injured. If you ask me, I think Ranieri took him out because he isn't experienced enough to stand the attacks Cagliari were making. If you further ask me I would say Ranieri should have approached the solution otherwise.
Legro isn't good enough, he did a really dumb penalty.
We are really missing Cannavaro, we need a leader a leader in our defense.

He registered his SEVENTH account :lol2:
He deserves a prizeeee, maan :lol2:

He's boring. I don't think I'll ban him anymore, the last one I did was just to clean his mess.

I don't get all this crap about role models . Does he really even have to have a role model at all ? can he not become his own type of footballer or is he too dumb for that ?

I find it very stupid that every player needs/has a role model , in the end every player is unique so why try copying others. Sure , he can look to other legends for a little inspiration but nothing more . Chiellini will be Chiellini and if does become a great player for us , people will remember him as Chiellini and not a Gentille follower .

Anyone else noticing how many players are falling into the "he had a bad day, he needs a chance" category? :lazy:

Soldatino banned because of his reply against these insults

what about this guy?is he untouchable?
They can ban me if they want, rest assured I won't re-register 7 times.

And Jack clearly told the dude (whoever he was, he's not important) not do to something and he purposely did it just to oppose the moderator. If I had done that I'm sure I would've been banned or at least warned.

Yeah.. but players do need a break afterall , you can't expect everyone to perform at their best every single game . When they start having an unusually large number of bad games then i think it would be fair to judge them .

The only problem I have with this team is the lack of depth in central defence. Andrade hasn't been bad but he hasn't been good either and Criscito is a work in progress. Legro and Boumsong just aren't good enough to deal with the quality in this league and we don't look great at right back either. Maybe Grygera could do a better job in the centre, I don't know, but we were raped by a Cagliari side today who although they are good are no way near the quality of Roma, Inter, Milan and even Fiorentina and Palermo.

Nedved had a great game last week. So he sucked this week, you can't expect his form to be perfect. He'll come around.

Camoranesi is a key player for us as he adds much needed control and creativity to the midfield, something I thought we would have with Almiron but he was absent today. Zanetti continues to be our most consistent player with solid showings in all his games this term, pre-season and competitive.

People will say Chiellini struggled against Foggia today and he did but where exactly was Nedved helping him? Salihamidzic did defensive work with Zebina on the right but Nedved was never there and Foggia had acres of space to run at Chiellini or pick a pass. I thought Chiellini was much stronger than Criscito.

Overall it was a bad game for us but we got the result we needed so let's move on from here and hopefully improve performance wise.

The fact that Juve won today after 2 penalties that can be devastating to any team is an excellent sign if you ask me . This team has heart . They didn't play well , but they did fight till the last second despite dubious referee decisions , many teams couldn't do that .

I think our performances will improve with time , but what's important is knowing that our team is capable of withstanding the pressure and overcoming the psychological difficulties with great professionalism

Great point. We have a determined group here and you could see how much the win meant to the boys, Buffon in particular, after the final whistle went.

With a top four place being our target two wins out of two is more than an acceptable start and let's not forget we hadn't won in Sardinia in a very long time.

It was always the hope that our determination and motivation at being back in Serie A would be enough to carry us through the first month, until our new signings settled in and the team really starts to gel.

An away game to cagliari with a completely new team was never going to be easy . It's not only Roma , milan , inter , and fiorentina aren't the only teams to beat . It's really these games i find very challenging . It was a difficult win away from home and it's these close games that really get the team together and united .

We shouldn't expect a beautiful Juventus thrashing each and every opponent with style every single game . We are going to have hard games where we play badly , the fact that we just won one of these hard games is great for us .

The team however does need a lot of improvement in nearly every department . I don't think buying new players now would solve anything but rather play each player in the right position and letting him live up to their full potential is what Ranieri should be focusing on .

I wouldn't say I'm happy but I'm not unhappy either. I really don't care about the guy. I think today was the first time we ever spoke to each other and it wasn't my intention to get him banned. He did that on his own.

You lost one of your friends, I lost one of mine. That's life.

Hello all!

I was pretty upset to see us play so badly in the first half! We seemed to hold our own in midfield, but I didn't see any creativity or pace. Once Camoranesi came on I think it made all the difference!

Bear in mind Livorno got whipped again today, which means us whipping them 5-1 last week wasn't an amazing amazing achievement (though still good). The key here is that even after a fairly shoddy performance as well as some flaring tempers, we kept our cool and won the game. 3 very hard fought points, well done lads.

Commentators on Channel 5 were saying that they weren't too impressed with Juve's defending, but to be fair, with youngsters like Chiellini and Criscito, and also Andrade and Zebina who have all never played with each other, and in fact now I think of it they've never even played with any of the other defenders in the starting back 4, besides the start of this season, they've done well I guess. With time they'll get to know each other better and gel.

I think we missed a bit of Iaquinta's pace today, which is why I think bringing Camoranesi on was a good decision. But I wasn't pleased with Almiron and Zanetti. Those 2 were just farming in the middle of the pitch, taking things too slow and not even setting their passes accurately! I found that really annoying.

Buffon and the defenders did as well as they could I guess, Foggia was causing major problems, but they did well to double up on him in the 2nd half. Legrotaglie looked good when he came on.

Del Piero was disappointing in my opinion. I love the guy, but to be fair he looked slow and his skills weren't coming off. and what a miss! I guess the pressure's on him a little bit to perform, but as we all know, Serie A is a totally different kettle of fish to Serie B, it'll take a few matches to adjust back. Our focus should only be to get 3 points every game and to gel with one another!

Phew! Sorry for that long waffle!

Hope you guys are good?

Kami :)
