A draw would have been a fair result. The only real difference I see thus far after Ciro's reign is that we are now finishing our chances that have been created by Del Piero for the most part. When Ciro was in charge, Del Piero was injured for most of the time, so he couldn't save our asses. But thankfully for us he's back because looking at the tactics and choices Zach makes, we need somebody else to save our season. There is no way we'll continue getting points playing in such a horrendous fashion.

Glad for the three points, but you have to say that we won in spite of the tactics and overall performance of the team, much like the past couple matches. We were lucky Bologna were missing Di Vaio because he would have finished one of those chances, just like Floccari or Crespo would have taken their chances with Genoa last week. Del Piero saved us again through his spontaneous creativity to send Candreva in.

Nothing in the side inspires confidence. The midfield isn't clicking when we have the ball and still is beaten despite having Melo and Sissoko in the middle. We're still dodgy on the wings as seen today through the chances Raggi, Busce and then Salvio created, which makes sense considering how poor we played there against Ajax. So that problem was not addressed by Zach. And lastly, the defense from all angles is suspect, even Chiellini lately.

The fitness level of our team is drastically improved.

Del Piero's form plays huge part in the recent results, but I see improvements (somewhere bigger, somewhere only slight improvements) in almost every aspect of our game.

Ciro was the cancer in this team. There is no doubt about it, imo.

But that could so easily be down to other factors, such as:
- Players returning from injuries, which means fielding a better lineup, more squad rotation, which in turn means fresher legs
- Us winning a couple of games, which boosted the morale
- Del Piero being healthy
- And of course, the act of changing the manager (regardless of whether ot was Zac or anyone else), which had an impact on the team.

Maybe slightly. But then again, I think much of it could be down to Del Piero's creation as well. It's hard to say because there was always the possibility of looking better at first just because of the change of manager. Even with Ferrara last season and into the first few this season we looked good, but as we know that could all change.

Del Piero barely played under Ciro, and just before Ciro was sacked, he was only returning from his injury, and was clearly rusty.

All I'm saying is that since Ciro left, plenty of things had changed apart from the new manager, that did influence our recent performances, and no one can tell at the moment how important which was.

I don't agree we look more organized. Just look at how the wing players have played, and also how our defense has looked since Zach took charge. It's still a huge clusterfuck, possibly even worse on the flanks.

Not sure how we look "calm" scrambling in front of our goal and on the wings all the time.
