Dont criticise all the players so much, as this is all clearly's del neri and marotta's fault...

the players :

storari pretty good, buffon would have gotten the goal tho

motta has quality, u can see that, but had no indication of when to push up, and no communication with centre midfield when he did, talent tho
chiellini basically covering the center, and leftback since DC was a joke
bonucci played pretty good since he was alone in the center alot as chiellini covered DC's mistakes on left back
de ceglie so i heard they are buying traore, a left back. about time

krasic played well, but didnt got a good ball, and had to run out of position to get it. make 3 good actions regardless. will be very good when he gets the ball in position
melo very good, but not the boss on the midfield. didnt knew where to pass
marchisio played poor, mostly cause he didnt knew what to do when in posession
pepe cant recall pepe doing something constructive

del piero skilfull when having the ball, but not the pace to make the action on his own. also, limited in space as quagli ran in his way, forcing him to go to the side to often, limiting room for the winger
quagli had no clue where to run, then again, he's a juve player for 48 houres. clearly badly coached by del neri

martinez should have subbed pepe, not krasic. had to play allmost in the center to see a ball
lanzafame u can see he has skill, but he didnt knew what to do when he had the ball, wants to set up combinations, but dont know with who
sissoko should have subbed marchisio, when he came on, the match was lost

put lanzafame or martinez instead of pepe,
aquilani for marchisio
bring in benzema or borriello(or pazzini)
GET A LEFTBACK

the team :

couldnt pass the ball around on bari's half, cause no one knew where to pass to
2 deep strikers running in each others way
wingers had to come entirely to the center to receive passes
horribale high balls to switch flank, that were allways interceptet by bari fullbacks
our own fullbacks, not knowing what to do, motta should, dc is a retard
centre midfield that cant seemb to connect with wingers or forwards
no cohesion
no clear flowing systhem
like this, no creativity

if del neri can solve these problems, and we get a good leftback and striker, we are finishing third or maybe second

if he cant we will struggle for euro league with the new coach that will likely arrive to late

I think Quagliarella and Amauri can do a fine job. I believe Del Piero and Quagliarella were just stepping on each others toes last match. Our problems also persisted with our centre midfield not being able to do anything. Melo played good, but he can't do it himself. Marchisio just had an awful game, hopefully that was a one time thing. We need some creativity, we need Aquilani in the centre alongside Marchi or Melo. That'll help us drive forward, Aquilani is definitely talented. Krasic and Pepe are going to have to pull their part too. They need to be fast, and always driving up the wings of the pitch.

Storari; Motta Bonucci Chiellini NEW LB; Krasic Aquilani Marchi/Melo Pepe; Amauri Quagliarella.

That squad has what it takes to get us to the Champions League, and contend for the title. They just have to gel together, be prepared, play with their hearts, and never underestimate an opponent in this league which was certainly evident in our loss against Bari.

On Paper - Real Madrid should have won the La Liga. Bayern Munich shoulda won the cl. The Orlando Magic shoulda got to the NBA Finals. The Blackhawks shouldn't have won the Stanley cup. Juve shoulda finished higher then 7th last season. shall I go on?
Hmmmm I see what you're trying to say but those are poor examples

Barcelona are better than Real Madrid on paper. Inter easily superior to Bayern Munich.... plus the Celtics are a good side :p

My knowledge on hockey is limited so i'll let you have the last one :p

I think making Champs League is realistic aim but it could be a real challenge this year. Our other rivals are all solid and you know they are going to be up there. IMO it's impossible to predict how well Juventus are going to do and fair against these sides. Still all up in the air.

I don't think there is any way we will contest the title. I don't even think our team believes it either, part of the problem. Realistically what players of ours could walk into that Inter team and make them stronger? Buffon and Chiellini possibly but it's not as if Cesar and Samuel are weak links, some will argue that they are even stronger. Not one of our other players would make their team. Marchisio and Del Piero possibly could make their bench

Now Juventus doesn't play until September 12th. This is going to kill me :(
I hope Aquilani is fit to play in the next two weeks. Maybe some Boriello action.

The more I think about it, the more I worry.

I've decided to stop thinking about it and wait and see how things develope.

We don't have the whole season to wait for this team of mediocre players to gel. Did we need so many changes? Were the acquisitions of Pepe and Martinez really necessary? Waste of money on a talentless albeit hard working individual, and an injury prone turd who isn't really all that.

As for the attack, Quag and the potential acquisition of Borrielo are just really bad jokes.

When you are rebuilding a team, you don't need to panic buy, or buy in bulk as we have been doing over the past 3-4 years. Unfortunately Marrota and Co. don't seem to have learned anything from mistakes of the past, selling our better players, and disposing of club legends while showing them complete and utter disrespect and disregard.

Yes Pepe and Martinez were necessary. I wouldn't call Quagliarella a joke. Our team is heading in a 4-4-2 direction, and when you say "selling our better players" I assume you're talking about Diego and he would not fit in. Trezeguet's prime is over, what do you want us to do with him?

Pertinent question. I shall read the match reports, review our scores, perhaps catch some H/L, but not watch a full game. It's really depressing and disheartening to watch the team that I so dearly love disintegrating at such a rapid pace.
Okay.

I'm excited every time I get to see Juventus play, I reckon I'd be pretty much done with football if I was in your situation to give up watching my own team.

Excited? Are you sure that is the word you wish to associate with the current Juventus? Perhaps the words nervous, frustrated, worried, constipated, or even infuriated might suffice. I have been gradually losing my interest in football since our 2'nd season back in Serie A since Calciopoli. I didn't enjoy watching us play during Capello's negative years, but at least we achieved results and had a very solid team (albeit one that always failed miserably in Europe cuz Capello is a stubborn mule).
