Never an easy game against Atalanta...we really struggled to beat them at home and considering Juve's form against the smaller teams, we will definitely have to work our socks off if we are to get a result in Bergamo

Actually, even though many won't agree with me because it's not Juve style to think that way, if Roma beat Livorno then i think we're chanceless, considering Roma's schedule.
Even if we beat Atalanta, Roma winning vs Livorno will keep them 7pts in front of us, with only 4 matches to go. I doubt Roma will fuck up 3 of the 4 matches.
That's why maybe it will be smarter to give a rest to our best players after we secure top 4.
That way they'll have 1 month rest compared to the others who are still fighting for something in serie A.

I really don't know what's smarter.
With the EURO just around the corner it will be too much if we play at 100% till late May, then play the EURO and then play CL qualifications in August.

Opinions?
I agree with you. You are absolutely right, our best players should rest. I think it's time for Palladino, Tiago and Stendardo to play.

I thought he played against Napoli, but i may be wrong.
Actually, all i know is that he was in the predicted line-up before the match, i don't know if he played.
I'll check.......

...i checked, he played until minute 68 and then Simone Inzaghi replaced him.

Btw, the match date is 4/20.
Who understands understands, who doesn't...well... :D
You mean Hitler's B-day :) ?

Is this an afternoon game? I just want three points. I know however, Atalanta just seem like one of these "banana skin" type teams so we'll have to be carefull. Them, Catania and Siena are our easiest opponents in this late stage coz Lazio and Samp are more unpredictable + Samp will fight tooth and nail in that last game.

Wonder how Milanista feel now - - things not looking good and you have Inter in the last few games and finish off with a tricky Udinese. The CL and relegation situations are far from decided and as usual we'll have a dramatic last few rounds. 5 points seperating positions 4-7 and 5 points seperating 14-20
In EPL, the bottom team (Derby) has 10 points and close to -50 goal difference. Such crap wouldnt be seen here

Serie A = Emmy for best drama series!!

-------------------- Buffon ---------------------
Grygera -- Stendardo -- Chiellini -- Molinaro
Marchionni - Camoranesi - Sissoko- Nedved
------------- Palladino - Iaquinta --------------

-------------------- Buffon ---------------------
Grygera -- Legrottaglie -- Chiellini -- Molinaro
----- Camoranesi -- Sissoko -- Nedved ------
------- Del Piero - Iaquinta - Palladino --------

I would like to see the first formation (to get to know Stendardo and to give Marchionni a chance to prove himself - I can't help it, I think he's a great player), but maybe not against Atalanta, which has always been a tough client for every topteam in the Serie A. We play Lazio after this one, and then Siena, Catania and Sampdoria follow. I'd say go for the straight win against Atalanta and feature the second formation, afterwards we still have a few games to try something out.

Atalanta have nothing to play for but pride, since they are safe, and have very little chance of getting into Europe. Same with Lazio, the only thing they can achieve this year is the Coppa Italia.

I can see us losing to Siena to help them confirm their safety.

About this game i think we'll play full team, so then we can rest our stars for a long and strenuous year next season

i'd like to see palla against atalanta. It probably won't be too hard, for the reasons stated above (they're save, ...) We should put some trust in him and give him 90 minutes. He seems to do better now, we should use that and see what he's capable of. That's the only way to find out if he's worth it. The atalanta game is perfect for this kind of try-out. Although we shouldn't gamble too much at the end of the season, i think we ould do it for once, because i'm pretty sure it wil pay out

Where is Trez in your line-up. Did you forget that he's aiming for the calcio top goalscorer. Trez must play again. :juventus:
