Scrappy game with Genoa as usual.

Cuadrado and Barzagli played well.

Padoin starting over Hernanes was fine. Padoin was a safer option defensively, and it'd have been more physically taxing for Marchisio playing as a B2B in a Marchisio-Hernanes-Pogba midfield.

Don't get why Caceres started 3 games in a row though. Rugani should have started. Both getting equal number of games would've been fine (and preferable for the time being), but Caceres playing thrice a week and Rugani getting relegated to a reserve role isn't.

13th win in a row , but the injuries are a bummer.

Some sources are wrong in saying 13 consecutive wins broke the club record. It broke the single-season record of 12, but tied the club record of 13 from 2013-14 to 2014-15.

And lol at Zaza. He was flirting with red before, was bound to receive it sooner or later.

Pereyra will be a key player in those games. You heard it here first.
Pereyra has nothing to do with Khedira though.

If Pereyra plays, it means Barzagli won't and we'll play a 4312.

Both Pereyra and Pogba at CM makes the midfield very unbalanced and it never worked before because both Bobby and Polpo are attacking CMs.

Ugly yet deserved win as Genoa didn't throw anything at us, Cuadrado MOTM by a slide, and it seems that he's getting closer to being worth of Chelsea's asking price (something between 20 and 25 million euros).
Zaza will be banned for only one match as it was a regular challenge nothing out of norms like kicking or elbowing or spitting..Evra and Sturaro are fit for our next match, Asamoah will return to training any day between next Friday and Monday and all of that is according to Allegri. According to Sky, there is optimism that Mandzu and Khedira can be fit for Napoli's first match, but the sad news is that according to GDS Caceres' season could be over.
Mean Bayern first match?

Cant a player storm of the field for "treatment", deliver hell to the nearest toilet bowl, clean up and come back on the field ?

I mean, players receive lenghty treatments from time to time.

Why is Pogba in the man of the match poll?
He did a nutmeg somewhere. We need to accept the craving for flair and fancy so that automatically lands you a MotM nomination.

he was decent, nothing more.

Missed the match. Is it worth watching the whole thing or the highlights are enough?
Don't.

I thought he was one of the worst players on the pitch after Padoin. He loses so many balls when he tries to complicate things. He made a great pass to Cuadrado in the second half and almost got him 1 against 1 with the keeper until the Colombian fucked it up as usual though.

Worse is a big stretch cause i tought nobody was playing really good.

well, Cuadrado had its moments, but then again, he also fucked up some stuff
Yes, but everyone pretends more from you if you're the so called next best thing.

Cuadrado this season always steps up when we play like shit for some reason. When the whole team is on the run Cuadrado is average at most, but when we are shit he really shines.

That's why he was so good at Fiorentina. Chelsea should have kept him, he would have been magical for them this season.

When the team is doing great, his shortcommings are highlighted.

But when we arent creating much and sitting back, he'll get significantly more feed.

This is why we should buy him. He is very fast, high workrate, knows when to dribble, still shit at shooting and passing, but against these teams it matters less.

TBH this was a great three points, simply because we didn't turn up. We can't go from the Chievo performance to that in the space of a few days, even if the opposition were far more difficult to play against.

You tell with us inside 15-20 minutes how the game will go, it's all too obvious. We just tried to do enough. I hope to not see the same against Frosinone, because anything can happen away from home. It would be sickening to face Napoli anything more than two points behind.

Real shame about Caceres, I think he knew it was a bad one. That could be a real problem losing that cover in defence, it doesn't allow us to rotate much between three competitions.

Cuadrado or Bonucci for MOTM, Bonucci won everything in the air.

We can change formation and play with two CB's.
