Does that mean you will take back match threads from me?

How was your vacation, by the way? :)
If you're happy with them you'll stay, I just take over when things are going bad but I'm leaving you with a good form team. When I was in-charge @Hustini @JCK needed help and therefore my touch made a difference. (You all welcome)

It was great, got sick but it was still great.

Thank you. As I said before, it's an honour and priviledge to open match threads. Where have you been on vacation?

I remember it from the time, he thought it would offend Lazio fans more to go to Juventus. There was also some issue with Alessandro Moggi being his agent, which the FIGC dragged into an issue.
That's good to know, I forgot that part, but we couldn't afford Nesta's transfer fee either.

Cannavaro defansive performance during the WC2006 are probably the best WC performance of all time. He was like a bull, absolutely unbeatable. As the tournament was progressing he was only getting stronger and stronger.
But his peak lasted only 2-3 years.

On the other hand Nesta was more consistent, and he was on the same level for 10 years.
Cannavaro at his best was better than Nesta at his best. But Nesta was more consistent.
Nesta and Cannavaro both were great for more than 10 years (sans Canna's two yrs at Inter). Needless to say, Cannavaro was great at Parma. Young Canna did very well at Napoli even. Nesta was always the better CB. There wasn't a huge gap in quality between the two, but it was clear that Nesta was better. Cannavaro's performance in WC 2006 is the best ever defensive performance in a WC, but that doesn't overall make him better than Nesta. It was one tournament in two long, illustrious careers.

    Del Piero – Trezeguet

    Nedved – Davids – Pirlo – Pogba – Zambrotta

    Chiellini – F. Cannavaro – L. Thuram

    Buffon

    :klin:

    :donedeal:
Neddie at WB wouldn't work. And Ferrara > Chiellini .

    May I suggest:

    Buffon
    Thuram Ferrara Cannavaro Zambrotta
    Pogba Pirlo Davids
    Nedved
    Trezeguet Del Piero

Peak Vidal could replace one of Pogba and Davids, esp the latter, but he has been a prick lately.

Davids would fit better at bayern tho.

But thats mainly cause bayern play him in the natural position of davids and because davids was a better passer and technique
