Wow. This is the first coach at the peak of his powers to go to Saudi. From a CL contender to a retirement league. He should have been ready to coach a top side like Bayern or Chelsea

Maybe he wants a chill life. Spend three years in Saudi and set up your next 3 generations . And then you can do whatever the fuck you want for the rest of your life.

The alternative is an ultra stressful job where most people hate you (Bayern and Chelsea fans are extremely hard to please) where you will earn less money.

I'm surprised how many here rate Inzaghi.

If you look back over his time with Inter they have underachieved. They have had by far the strongest squad during that time and should have won the title more with us out of the picture. Losing to that AC squad and Napoli this year in particular was really poor for them.

They did well to get to the CL final but their draw was favourable and they were embarrassed in the final. They also had a terrible record against any of the bigger teams in Serie A this year.

i said it a few weeks ago that for me, from inzaghi's pov it makes no sense to move to saudi arabia. i didn't know about the salary they are offering, i just thought that ~7m that inda offered were high enough. well i was wrong

we need al hilal to make marotta an offer too lol

He's already set up. If he wants a chill life, he can have it right now. No need to coach in Arabia.

He has enough money for you and me perhaps. But these guys are used to a rich lifestyle.
I understand not going there as a player unless you’re close to retirement, because it’s career suicide. But that’s not the case for managers.

Indeed, we're talking about a TON of money, he can always come back to Inter or most of other teams when he runs down his contract.
