The owners of Newcastle don't even answer phone calls from the white house, they will literally grind up the likes of ceferin like they did that journo they didnt like. If MBS was our owner, superleague would have been completed a while ago. I think you got the power structure backwards here.

the superleague question is a legal issue. that's the war that the owners should fight. with a favorable ruling from the eu court, it could be an easier fight for the next few years. with an unfavorable verdict the war is over. a new ownership would play according to ceferin's plans and that's not something i'd prefer. and a new ownership would mean bending over. nah, not yet.
either way there's a club to be operated. and that's on the management: we don't have a long term strategy, our image is cringe, our team sucks, our contracts suck, our recruitment sucks. these are strictly management issues that need to be addressed regardless of the war you're talking about.
