I think you’d find most people that live there would agree. And even Italians in other regions tell you the same.

In a country that barely has any pride in a national identity and still considers their town/city or region as their main identifier before their country, the Südtirol area is the one area where those feelings are very justified imo.
current borders are current borders, everyone should just get the fuck over it already.

I'm going the away match RKC Waalwijk - FC Volendam this friday. Bus ride of approx. 2 hours. Anxious because the bus doesn't have a toilet and I do have beer with me.

7 hour drive for a match is madness :lol
Nice

The atmosphere at games in Holland always looks and feels great to me. It’s kind of a like a mix between old school English-style support with continental Euro ultra.

Will you and the lads be ripping flares and clashing with the local lads upon arrival?

South Tyrol was forcibly merged into the fascist dictatorship of Italy and had Italianisation forced on them.

Not too different to what fuckstick Putler is doing in Ukraine now.
How far back in history do you want to go? Where is the line? Should Istanbul be given back to the Greeks too?

Flares, scarfs, flags and banners ofcourse. But clashing with the locals, nah don't think so. Most of the matches the away supporters aren't allowed close to the home supporters. The bus parks on a certain spot behind fences and all that

Was on a bus ride of about 1h15 - 1h30 for the cup final over here last Sunday. Bus driver stopped 3 times so that people could get of to take a leak.

Longest bus ride I was ever on just to attend a game & drive back immediately afterwards must have been around 6 hours. Good times :shifty:

Away trips up to Newcastle, Middlesbrough, Sunderland etc were always fun, 5 hours on the coach from the Midlands. The driver will stop at services if it doesn't have a toilet, like BF says. Either that or what else does he want, you pissing in the bus?
