I'd go a step further: if we do not win our next 4 matches, while all our rivals lose points on at least one of these 4 matches (Milan on at least 2), then we won't have much to look for in the last 5 rounds.

Juventus: Salernitana (H), Inter (H), Cagliari (A), Bologna (H) to win 12 pts
Milan: Cagliari (A), Bologna (H), Torino (A), Genoa (H) to win at most 8 pts
Inter: Fiorentina (H), Juventus (A), Verona (H), Spezia (A) to win at most 9 pts
Napoli: Udinese (H), Atalanta (A), Fiorentina (H), Roma (H) to win at most 10 pts

Then the standings will look like this:
Milan 71
Napoli 70
Inter 68 (1 match less)
Juventus 68

Then in the last 5 rounds we wait for them to slip, while they'll all be within reach.
I hope I'm wrong, but imo we're a bit too thin upfront to win 9/9 against Inter, Cagliari and Bologna, McKennie, Chiesa are both out and Dybala is an unknown, so basically it's Morata, Vlahovic and Cuads (all internationals) all day long with short rests in the form of Kean and Berna. If we win against Villareal (we really should), our schedule for those games is smth like this and only Bologna is a relatively easy game there:

03/04 Inter
06/04 CL
10/04 Cagliari
13/04 CL
16/04 Bologna

I agree. If we make it to CL quarters, then 0 chance to fight for the scudetto, even if our rivals do lose points. Since it's really a very long shot to win the scudetto (3 teams need to lose points left and right) and I see us as strong favs to keep the 4th place, I'd choose the CL quarters. We don't stand a chance to win a trophy in Europe, but I'm missing the CL late stages excitement.

Are we weaker than Ajax? :boh:
Honestly its tough to say we are better than anyone when we dont play well, that being said we are getting the results needed in Serie A so maybe and maybe not...

Serie A wise - We would have won the league despite being crap should the start of the season be like we are now (even if not impressive).
Inter started losing points and Milan who are a nice side still arent great.

Objectives - We should be able to finish in the top 4 as we have 5 pts lead over Atalanta (I count missing games as 3 pts unless its a mid-table/relegation zone)
P.S 5 pts lead is actually a 4 point lead as with 5 points they would overtake us due to head to head.

serie a, everyone:

joke of a league.
The only thing common is the calciopoli masters. Hopefully the Referee Massa is suspended still remember his officiating in the Atlanta and Torino game where he allowed manhandling of juve players and waited for any juve player to dissent against his decision to hand out a yellow card.

oh yeah, and they now have an explanation too:

bergomi said something like "i think there was a pre softpenaltygiventoindaduringthederby, and from now on, rocchi (ref designator) said that's enough so these contacts are no longer given as a pen"

the audacity here. somehow always on the right end of the d, and still manage to make it look like they have nothing to do with anything. god i still hate them even though moratti is long gone.

Fuck Cuntobile - typical big fish in a middle sized pond. Absolutely overrated cunt. Failed at Sevilla, failed in Dortmund, and Italy have been winning in spite of his underwhelming performances. Sure, he can score for Lazio, but where were those goals for Italy and his other clubs? Exactly. A world class striker can adapt to his surroundings. Good for him he's found a team where he fits and that can cater to his needs. A striker of his "caliber" should only ever be 3rd or 4th choice at a club like Juventus.

you are sick in your head
1) "failed at sevilla" - he was there for 6 months only
2) "failed at dortmund" - he was there for 1 season, 10 goals in 33 matches is not a lot but he was their best goalscorer in the UCL with 4 goals and it was a bad season for the whole club, not only for him
3) For Italian NT he have scored 15 goals in 54 matches, Luca Toni have scored 16 in 47 matches, Paolo Rossi 20 in 48 matches, Inzaghi 25 in 57 matches, and also keep in mind that Toni, Inzaghi, Rossi had incredible teammates while Ciro at his peak form never had a chance to play with Totti, ADP, Pirlo,Baggio etc.

No. I just have higher expectations than a guy who failed outside Italy and continues to put in mediocre performances for his country whenever called upon. Sure, he has set records scoring for Lazio, but his average for Italy is not even 1 goal every 3 games.

Cuntobile has scored a total of 65 penalties throughout his career, 6 this season and 14 in Serie A in the 2019-2020 season. Out of his total of 254 goals, 1/4th have come from the penalty spot.

Ask yourself this question: Would you want Immboile instead of Vlahovic? Hell No. Would you want him instead of Dybala? Fuck no. Would you want him instead of Morata? It's a no from me. There you go.
