Excellent result given that we'll struggle tonight without key players. This would have been a great opportunity to gain some points. Hopefully we pull it off tonight nevertheless

We used to be 20-30 points ahead of Milano teams and many people here took those Scudetti for granted.

Now even when they are dropping points in consecutive games, they are still ahead of us.

He was yours in his best days :D
Thats back then. There is a reason I never wanted him back, players of his kind wear down quicker, become more injury prone, lose that extra step and pace as they get older. Makes me even more pleased we signed a relative unknown in mckennie and hes turning out to be a resemblance of what Vidal used to be.

Subbing on kolarov and gagliardini when you're chasing the game though....

The last time Milan had this many, or more points after 17 rounds was when they won the scudetto in 2003/04. Even their CL winning/final teams in 2003, 2005 and 2007 didn't have 40 points after 17 rounds. Inter are also having one of their best seasons points-wise in the last decade. Both teams have drastically improved compared to those times you mention. The second reason is of course Juve not winning enough. So far we are doing almost the same as Conte's 2011/12 Juve. We won it back then against Milan which had 37 pts after 17 rounds.

The first reason is we failing to win against scrubs like crotone, benevento, Verona and Fiorentina. A draw from those 4 would be excusable, but never 4.
Other reasons don't matter

Inter are scary. Conte is a winner and no European games is a huge bonus. I have no doubt he will throw the Coppa Italia and go all in for the scudetto.
Milan’s mentality is impressive but they’re massively lucking out on their results. They have 4-5 good players but the others are mediocre and won’t be good enough to challenge for the title.
As for Juve, we cannot think of the scudetto- we have to take it one game at a time and try to beat Inter and Milan. If we win 4 of the next 5 games, we have a great shot.
