My uncle's are all nostalgic about football from this era and especially for these three legends. It's actually quite funny, each uncle of mine rates a different one of these three legends as the true goat.

meh he's exaggerating. the man did have world class talent and probably didn't fully deliver due to his attitude but there's a gang of pro footballers who fit that bill and he's miles from mentioning his own name along with Messi

I agree with Sneijder. Messi robbed him, Villa, Diego Forlan, Xavi and Robben of a Balon D'or that year. Undeserved definitely.

Messi also robbed Ronaldo in 2012, while imo Ribery should've won it in 2013.
