The right back will join the Nerazzurri on a one-year loan from Atletico Madrid. Inter will pay €6.5 million for the loan with a €17 million option to purchase next summer.

Napoli should focus on Europa League. They're 11 points off of us, but 14 points up on 5th place. They don't really need to finish any higher than 4th in the league to accomplish the goal of CL qualification, which should be easy even with minimal effort. And now that they're out of Coppa Italia, they should really go all in to try to win Europa. It's their best chance at a trophy this season, by far.

Napoli doing even worse with Ancelotti than I thought. Out of 3 competitions and soon to be 4 with the EL. They are lucky that the other big clubs are much more inconsistent this season combined with the fact that they’ve snuck quite a few last minute/fluke wins. Following in Sarri's footsteps. Out of CL group stage last year, out of Coppa quarters to Atalanta. Out of Europa Rof32 to RB Leipzig. Only difference is they were still in 1st in the league at this point last year, with 6 more points than they have this year. Mostly because we dropped a lot of points in the first half last year.

I expect them to go a lot further in Europa this year though. I could see Ancelotti focus on it, and float along through the remainder of the Serie A season, finishing 2nd or 3rd.
