that makes sense in a way, but that's not about making a point, it's purely about money.

Sarri is an old dude, for him either his next team is a big one or its likely that he might retire trophyless. In his position and age I wouldnt be happy to sit doing nothing, look at Conte f.e., he probably wont have a job next season and that guy has three times the CV compared to Sarri, not easy to land a job in a top team

Then again ADL might be fucking up as well, if Chelsea doesnt pay and look elsewhere, he loses a lot of money just to prove a point
