Poor Napoli and their heavy schedule, it was obvious that they were suffering from fatigue after their mid week match to Leipzig. Still Sarri played his trademark beautiful football. I wish we can be like them.

This is an incredible race. Napoli and Juventus are in top 5 all time list of points after 25 rounds in serie A. As a matter of fact, Napoli are just 1 goal in goal difference short of Conte's Juve which won 102 points.

These are the all time top 10 points won after 25 rounds (3 pts given for a win, even in those seasons where a win was worth 2 pts)

1. Juventus 66 pts (2013/14) +41
2. Napoli 66 pts (2017/18) +40
3. Juventus 66 pts (2005/06) +36
4. Inter 66 pts (2006/07) +33
5. Juventus 65 pts (2017/18) +47
6. Milan 64 pts (2003/04) +35
7. Inter 64 pts (1988/89) +35
8. Juventus 63 pts (2016/17) +36
9. Juventus 62 pts (1930/31) +35
10. Milan 61 pts (1950/51) +51

At this rate, both teams will have ~100 points after 38 rounds. This never happened before in Serie A.

Impressive but I have to say it highlights how weak the rest of the league is

Obviously I dont know the 7th, 9th or 10th team, but I have to say Napoli do look out of place if we're talking quality, those guys dont have one WC player on their team, maybe Mertens or Koulibaly. Either they're overachieving massively or the league has dropped in quality quite a lot

:howler: Define world class player then and tell me how many world class players do start for Juve at the moment? Depending on the formation, Insigne, Hamsik, Mertens, hell even Hysaj, could end up in our starting 11.

Stop underestimating the Nipples squad like they were some 2nd rate trash punching above their weight.

And no, the league hasn't dropped in quality. Not in the past few years.

They clearly are the 2nd best team in the league, only denied the title by a super constant Juventus team.

Yes they are a clear example of the sum being greater than the individual parts

If they win the league it will be an amazing feat for them
