it sucks that Lazio seems to be losing a step. they are the only ones that can keep inter out of the top4, considering Milan flat out sucks (even more so than last few seasons, if that was ever possible). now we need inter to start choking like they do every year, but its less likely this year since they finally have a good coach

Roma missing a good RW, Inter missing depth and LB, Lazio lacking ref decisions & maybe belief.

Juve and Napoli will be 1 and 2. After that, it can be any order.

Far too many people are overlooking Roma in favor of Napoli and Inter. It could be their season this time round.
It won't be their season. We will win the scudetto again.

In regards to Juve, we are doing the same as ever in the last 7 seasons. With one single exception in 2015/16, when we started the season terribly and we won only 33 points after 17 rounds, in each of the last 7 seasons we are winning more or less the same amount of points. Only twice in the last 6 seasons we had more than 41 points after 17 rounds. And it pretty much goes the same way - we lose points on 4, 5 or 6 matches in the first half of the season and we destroy everything on our way in the 2nd part of the season.

The difference this time are the points of our opponents. Only twice in the last 6 seasons a team other than Juventus won 38+ points after 17 rounds. Both times it was Roma (41 pts in 2013/14 and 39 pts in 2014/15). This time we have 3 such teams in one single season (Napoli 42, Inter 40 and Roma 38 with a game in hand).
But just like there was a pattern in our case, the opponents who started very well in the first half of the season, lost ground when it mattered later in the season. Nothing suggests that it won't happen this time again. As a matter of fact, the performances of our opponents lately suggest that the same will happen again and in the 2nd part of the season they will lose points much more regularly than at the start. It's true that with 3 opponents going strong so far, there is a chance that at least one of them will keep going with force, but I just don't see it. All of them have thin squads and not enough character to keep going as they did.

Milan have condemned Gazzetta dello Sport for reporting the club had lost their ‘dignity’ against Verona on Sunday.

La Gazzetta went with Milan’s 3-0 defeat to Verona on their Monday front page, but the suggestion of “zero dignity” used for its headline did not go down well with the Rossoneri.

“The defeat to Verona was, without doubt, serious, mortifying and unacceptable,” read a Press review on the club’s official website.

“However, with respect to the recognised and proven moral integrity of a Coach, coaching staff and an entire team, any form of confusion regarding the concept of dignity is equally unacceptable.

“Milan have apologised for their performance at Verona, which lends itself to criticism, but pointing the finger at dignity leaves a very bitter aftertaste of fury, which transcends technical assessments and the act of criticism.

“Judgments cannot and mustn’t lose balance, even in the face of a bad result. The ball remains the ball and our dignity remains something else.”

I have some bad news for AC Milan, they have lost their dignity a logn, long time ago.

One Milan fan called the club Associazione Circus Milan
That indeed is hillarious as it really isnt far from the truth atm.

I actually feel a bit pitty for Milan, as this went worse than everyone even thought it could go for them  tbh i would have preffered Inter to be in their situation if i was to choose one... :sarcasm: :D
