What is going on here though? The elephant carrying a cathedral(?) is balancing on a ball while getting attacked by a phoenix and another bird?
Typical COA really from the UK.

Elephant - symbol of strength, carrying Coventry Castle
Eagle of Leofric (11th century Earl of Mercia)
Phoenix, 'rising from the ashes' symbolism from the city being bombed in the Blitz (1944)

The city COA is very similar.

The old logo is better:

Is Icardi leaving? I hope he stays tbh. Icardi-Gaybigol would be such a great douchebag duo to see.
I like that they splashed the cash on Joao as well, he looked so meh at Euros.
somebody must be leaving for lot's of cash if they got the Financial Fair Play on their ass. Could be him or Brozovic.

Lirola is still ours right?
yes, 2 year loan with option to Sass but we can counter it. Liked him yesterday? Was good going forward. Needs to work on the defensive side and he'll be a nice player. Looking forward to see Sensi play too.

I watched some of the Palermo-Sassuolo game and Sensi looked really mature and impressive. He even played a bit out of position as a LCM and had no problem at all, will no doubt be a quality player in the future.

Sensi looked very calm with the ball at his feet. Good decision making. He's one to watch, getting some European experience on loan will be invaluable.

This relationship with Sassuolo should only continue to blossom if they can make European qualificatiom regularly.
