The thing is - Yes we have a better attack Dybala-Higuain.. but our midfield has weakened a lot in recent years! I said it before and I`ll say it again
Pirlo Vidal Marchisio Pogba was the best then we sold Vidal so Pirlo Marchisio Pogba was good as well then we said goodbye to Pirlo and Pogba...
Pjanic is a very good player who isnt playing as well as we thought he will but this isnt an excuse as if you sell a player like Pogba you need to replace him with someone who is on the same level!
Pjanic is a very good player but he is not on Pogba`s level! The thing is Verratti is probably impossible so we needed to buy 2 great players to replace him and we ended up with getting only 1!

Hope we get a strong midfield in January as it might be enough for the league as we are the best team in a weak league but in the CL it wont be enough!
Atl Madrid who last year got to the final and I think we were at least as good as they were last year! are better than us!
Dortmund yeah they conceded a lot against a weak team but one game doesnt change the whole story! We were playing a terrible football in almost every game this season at least they played well
B.Munich might lost their CL game but they would destroy us
R.Madrid as much as I hate Zidane as a manager they would destroy us as well
Barcelona cant be mentioned with us in the same sentence anymore...

Its not just this game its the whole picture!
We need Serie A to improve greatly as this seem like the only way our management will push to get our team the proper reinforcements!

Obviously you can't just not bother for 30 mins in a game, when the opposition are giving everything. Deserved to lose. Second half reverted to average, in thanks because Genoa settled for counters.

Haven't seen such $#@!e for a while, but can't say I didn't expect a loss of sorts at some point. We are always worst when our foot goes off the gas, and they have probably been believing their own hype with all this talk of points and records all week. They embarrassed themselves first half, it's as simple as that. I didn't expect to see almost half a match where a Juve team couldn't be bothered to compete.

This lethargy is all too common these days, I keep saying that it's hard to snap out of it when you need to. We can't turn up and expect everyone to be terrified of us, and now thanks to this result and performance you will see a lot more teams having a go. Atalanta and Torino next, these boys better pull their fingers out of their asses because that lead of ours can be thrown away in a second.

True,especially Torino.

Absolutely, we need a good win next week, anything less and our aura will soon be gone.

It's all on Allegri
I just did not understand this lineup

What the heck he was thinking.
If you are FORCED to play a WB in CB, the best one was Evra with all the mistakes he did.

Otherwise; just play with a back 4 ffs.
I absolutely blame it on Allegri 100%

Even after 2-0 down you asssssssssssshooollleeee, put Hig. On..

The team lacks balls, urgency, and tenacity. We have too many soft players in midfield, and without Dybala our attack looks impotent. Cuadrado isn't consistent enough to keep bailing us out, and the likes of Hernanes, Alves, and Stururu should already be plying their trade in China or the MLS.

How many injuries have we had this season?

Most of our players have been out on injuries:

Barzagli, Bonucci (now), Benatia (several times), Alves (now), Lichsteiner, Rugani, Chiellini, Asamoah (couple of times), Pjanic, Khedira (couple of times), Lemina, Dybala, Pjaca, Higuain, Mandzukic (couple of times). I know I am missing a few more too.

Its nuts. Can't remember the last time we had so many injuries.

If you look at the posts about team performance even after wins, you will find very similar takes.

It tells a lot. We've been saying the same thing for months. This team has a pattern to be completely off, lethargic and passive during huge chunks of games. I mean, this happened most games this season. Part of it is due to our midfielders characteristics, no doubt. I consider it lack of quality. But mainly the attitude is fucked up, we lack identity and personality.

This was long due. That's what happens against teams driven and who believe they can win. Against Inter and Milan we also did not only lose, we got outworked, outran and dominated.

We have a lot of issues to solve, but injuries keep coming. Effort level will have to highen A LOT.

You can see how much this team misses someone like Dybala. Dybala and Higuain together and in top form makes a huge difference. I am looking forward to this winter break. Hopefully the team will recover all its injured players.

And I thought we were poor against Sevilla :D

Special mention to Lichtsteiner. It takes something special to manage being the worst player on the pitch today.

Buffon 5
Benatia 3
Bonucci 4
Dani Alves 4
Alex Sandro 3
Lichtsteiner 2
Hernanes 3
Khedira 3
Pjanic 4
Cuadrado 3
Mandzukic 5,5

Rugani 6
Higuain 5
Sturaro 5
Why we play him when he clearly doesn't give a fuck anymore is criminal from Allegri

Problems:

Formations is all over the place. Players don't know their roles in a team; no structure just vague passing hoping for the best. Players are out of position, Licht as CB, Cuadrado as SS, Hernanes is not a DM he cant defend for shit.

Injuries. I don't know what the medical team is doing.

Players not talking to the media?
Allegri making jokes on TV.

Well he have experience how to lose the title with the best team and how to be sacked. That's why he is in good mood.He will lost himself completely if we continue playing in this manner.
