Hoping not to get any negative rep for what I am going to do, the following is a match preview fom Seven. I really hope he can post again without him relying on his friends. Here what he wrote:
Juventus - Milan
Let me begin this preview by saying I will be there in our beloved, yet not all that pretty, Juve stadium. By the looks of it winning the game itself should be about as important as celebrating christmas with your family: we all say we take it very seriously, yet in all honesty we shouldn't care too much. Let's face it, we are going to win this scudetto. Should we fail against Milan on sunday, we should still be able to clinch that title without too many problems.
Though more than it will be game that decides who will be crowned champions in May, it will be a game about pride and dignity. Milan have come out this week's Champions League showdown like a huge maneating dragon, Juve have come out like a rabbit with a foul mouth. It's obvious that we have been ridiculed pretty much everywhere in Italy and beyond and it's also rather obvious Inzaghi's remarkable return doesn't boost our confidence either, but we should still manage to at least not look that bad against Milan. I'm not asking for us to win the game, I'm not asking for us to lose with just a one goal margin, but could we at least go down trying? Because that's what this team, or should I say Capello, lacks and what Milan have personified in Gattuso: grinta. We lack the will to fight.
On to the tactical aspect of the game. I don't expect Milan to give us a rough first half an hour. They have to win this game, but they aren't idiots. After that they'll probably start looking to finish the job as soon as possible. I expect they'll grab us by the throat and will only let go at the 90th minute. Sheva and Inzaghi are thé strikers our defence should worry about: fast, agile and most of all lurking at every possibility they get, no matter how small. I don't think Thuram or Cannavaro, who, with all respect, are rather slow will be able to keep up with them. Perhaps Cannavaro stands a chance, but I don't see how Thuram is going to pull this one off. Neither do I predict much good from our right back, who will most probably be called Zebina and faces Seedorf or Serginho. Seedorf will tend to cut inside, while Serginho will cover the flank. I suspect our central midfield will not be able to cope with Kaka, Pirlo and Seedorf so either our midfield will be outplayed or Zebina will have to let Serginho run free. This problem could be solved by playing only one striker, which should of course be Trezeguet. That way we could play Nedved next to Emerson and Vieira in midfield, while Mutu would play at left wing. Evidently Camoranesi would cover our right wing position.
You see I believe we should bench both Del Piero and Zlatan. Naturally the first for tactical reasons and the second because he, well, has been absolutely useless for quite some time now. I'm confident Del Piero will come on somewhere in the second half and have an important impact though. I don't think I'll see Zlatan's face this sunday, though that might be the optimist in me."
