Cannot answer every post individually so here is my over-all point:
This year Juve made it clear that CHAMPIONS was the goal and Serie A was the consolation prize..I could understand....2 CL Titles..one marred in blood and the other won in a PK shoot-out WHEN the team was using banned substances is really far from impressive...
Europe knows that year after year Juventus wins are overshadowed by controversial calls in Italy and their inability to win in Europe only gives greater credit to the theory that in Italy they seem to be given additional help..whether it is true or not is irrelevant...just showing what everyone else thinks of Juve...
If they wanted to win Europe Capello was the wrong coach to hire...They are fizzling out at the wrong time of the year..
More over, their boring, stagnant and catenaccio is really the last thing Europe wants to see from a supposed 'powerhouse'....are we supposed to believe that a team that drew the easiest of teams needed a late minute blunder from the keeper to go through is the best team in Europe??
The scudetto is probably out of reach because of Juve's early success but it is clear that this year once again Juve will have to settle for the consolation prize ...
face it...some folks are EUROPE..some ain't
this post is pretty much right on (not completely sure about the drug business, though)
The ONLY part I'm having a hard time agreeing with is about Juve winning the scudetto
If Milan wins (which is what I'm thinking), then the lead is down to 7 points. There is still time left for Milan to catch us
Having watched both Milan and Juve in recent weeks , the million dollar question is....
does Milan want the scudetto, or will they focus solely on Europe ??
Considering form as of late, if Milan wants the scudetto, they may get it !!
