True however Juve is proving year after year that they are just not cut out for the bigger stage..

at the end of the day would you rather bow out year after year in the early rounds or semi's and still try to claim you are Europe's best or be sidestepped by one game in which you cannot explain...

Italian media would lead us to believe that Juve is in Europe's elite...not for the last 10 years they have not.
First of all congrats on the great win and on ur form.

we reached the finals soo many times in the last ten years, soo i think our team can handle the big stage very, and we are up there with europe's elite.

In 2003 we reached the final in style i have to say.

Luck wasn't on our side in the past mybe this year with a bit of luck we could do it.

about the game..

I think this is a typical game where juve always show that this team has the right mentality to beat a team in top form, mybe the underdog tag could be good for us at the moment, since underdogs always give us a hard time.

I hope don ffabio could choose the best team for this game.

i want to see zebina there to give a bit more stable back four, as their attack is very dangerous at the moment, especially with pipos form.
Alex should start the game.i think ibra should take some time on the bench. We need alex's experience.

whats the news abt zambro's injury?

i want to see ibrahimovic start against milan just for one reason.. capello is angry with him and ysterday he didnt give him a day rest after the game but he put him with bonnefoi and did a wol training session shooting from outside the box that should make him furious and so next time he would be on target i also noticed that when del piero comes on as a sub he plays much better

Yes, however this disaster can be blamed solely on Capello, a coach who continues to F-up in Europe, and not the identity and tradition of Juventus. If you actually watched the matches you could tell that Capello does not have what it takes to successfully guide Juventus to the Champions League Final...it will take more luck than we have available. Milan knows about such luck, dont you lot?

28 Scudetti......Beats 18 Scudetti....By 10 Scudetti.

Champions League trophies or not. And Serie B is quite a blemish on a club's record.
capello guided to juve to the QF in first season and still in course for this year , you said the coach is F-up in Europe.:disagree: :disagree:
some dismal exit in group phase in previous years (before capelo) still ringing in my ears.

What I meant is Capello is so predictable that anyone on earth knows what his formation is going to be and which players he is to choose. The whole I predict Capello is going to start with these thing is now kindergarten material.

This is the reason why all the teams give us a hard time and embarrass us.

Thats true but I only hope that Cap. has learnd that Neddy is 100% better in the middle behind the strikers,if he has noticed this then maybe we could change our whole way of playing!

It's not really about the bigger stage. Its about a brand of football. Personally, I'd like to think Juventus play within the confines of a defensive mindset. The CL though is more about short passes, fluid play and an attacking verve. Something Milan has been doing successfully enough for a better part of their history. Having said that though, they've achieved the heights in Europe but that continues to hold them back in the Serie A at least in comparison with Juve. That doesnt necessarily mean Milan dont cut it. Its just that their particular style of play doesnt guarantee the kind of consistency Juve's does. And mind you, its not that Juventus dont have the depth or resources to adapt to the kind of mindset to thrive in the CL, its just a sort of ingrained mentality that keeps them in a comfort zone they should strive to do away with. Which is really, what makes it exasperating.

All said and done, its completely unfair to say Juve dont belong to Europe's elite, especially if we talk about the last decade. What they've compromised in approach over the years, they've more than made up for in their consistency to get the job done, no matter how hard they make it for themselves. 1996 winners, 1997, 1998 and 2004 runners up. 4 finals in 10 years is a record, any team would be proud of, including Milan.

Do you still believe that Capello is learning from his mistakes?
