Blanc and Cobolli at Villar Perosa applaud the public’s affection

The public’s enthusiasm is evident. This was underlined by John Elkann and repeated by Jean-Claude Blanc and Giovanni Cobolli Gigli.

The Juventus general manager commented: «Juventus has made important investments and it is right that the supporters have faith in us. It will be the field of play to give its verdict». Juventus are aiming for the championship and the Champions League. «We will play a match at a time and see – answered Blanc – for now the important thing is to concentrate and face every team with respect but with an awareness of our strength». This is Ferrara’s team «there will be no more transfers» confirmed the Juventus general manager who then commented about the transfer of Cristiano Zanetti to Fiorentina: «He is a 32 year old player who only had a year more in his contract. We must look at the finances and seeing that he wanted to sign a three year contract with Fiorentina we allowed him to do so».

1. Does that mean Almiron stays?

Don't know if it's true are not, but this morning La Gazetta is reporting that Almiron will be staying at Juve for now.
Due to the high amount of injuries, Juve is blocking his exit. Same goes for Ariaudo

still got more than 2 weeks to get rid of him, I'm not overly worried
Lol, how come someone should be worried about getting player out? It's not like he will cause major damage by sitting on the bench. If someone can motivate the guy, than he might still turn our to be good player to have, he has some qualities in passing and shooting, the problem is him being too lazy and comfortable with the 5 year contract we gave him at the summer of 2007. We will definetly not get his motivation high by loaning him out to Reggina.
