What you seem fail to realize is that we already have been there and done that. We tried it with Dzeko, didn't we? And yes, no matter if you think so or not, we have to overpay to get some of the best players on this planet. Sometimes you can have a manager like Moggi and a team like the one he had (now Barca, for instance) where players will be willing to cut their salary in half just so that they can play in it(Zlatan to Juve), but when you are doing exactly what you suggested it is kind of hard to convince them afterwards. Now we have 6 strikers, all of them are 'good deals', which means mediocre players that we overpaid for anyway. Is that helping in any way? Financially at least ?
Outbidding Man Shitty for Dzeko would have meant to get him for 30 mils. That is the price of Quag and Matri more or less. But if we did so, this year we should've overpaid for Aguero as well and we would have Aguero - Dzeko in front. Then next year it wouldn't be that hard to convince lets say Hazard to join us, cause he would be thinking there is a good chance we would win the league and compete IN CL, not FOR CL. And tbh Dzeko - Aguero are nowhere better at the moment than Alex - Trezeguet were and we added Ibrahimovic to that attack...
What is really amusing is that some people here are used to mediocrity and start buying the crap marotta is selling to them. 5 years in a row we are making a financial revolution and we are worse than when we started doing it. Real Madrid, on the other hand, are splashing cash left and right and they aren't worse financially. Parma (for ex.) are always going for the great deals you are talking about, yet they are nowhere close to the richest teams in the world. In short what you are suggesting has been proven NOT to work and we have been testing it not in some other team, but in Juventus for the last 5 years. If you want 5 more - great, but I would love to see us win a scudetto before I die...
Is there any limit to overpaying though? Would you be hailing Marotta's talents if he splashed 100 million on Aguero? Would you deem that to be good management? If not, then the difference between you and me is a subjective line of what is overpaying, and how much overpaying one is willing to tolerate. That is subjective, and you have one judgement, I have another. Marotta too has his own subjective limit. If you think that any figure would suffice as long as we get Aguero then like I said before, it’s just a fetish gone crazy.

look you guys, im not saying whether he will come or not come to Juve... or whether its a team he will bleed for or not, he did try for atletico madrid when it mattered the most, and im sure ATM wasnt a team he supported or a team with a spirit to fight till the end, while Juve is a team of heritage and history... this is de fact it cannot be altered, we are going through problems signing superstars, but for a player like Aguero... whether Juve is his first Choice or Last choice or is looking for a better choice than Juve, this is looking at it from a realistic view point, everyone in his position would, but im sure as hell, that if he does come here, he will grow to love Juve... especially with the fans behind him, especially if we do give him the treatment ADP, Buffon, TrezeGuet, Camo, Nedved had... hes no IQ, hes no Amauri, hes a level below worldclass but still a big player available on the market, who could grow to love and learn to fight for this shirt. He wants to make a big name for himself, he wants trophies, medals etc... so even if Juve were a team he didnt love he will pick the team up just to reach his goal... in the end football is his life... unless he was a complete flop, then thats just a different story, i mean who here doesnt start a job from scratch and moves to the top... one promotion at a time, and sometimes theres this one top notch employee who does this big business deal and takes the whole business a level higher... thats Aguero with the help of experienced and mediocre players at our disposal.

now as for the Aguero deal... i believe Marotta should just splash in the bucks... there arent many big players who can change a game at the moment on the market or in football in general, Barca has Messi, Real Madrid has CR7... Man utd has rooney... Chelsea has quality players just not that big player unless torres does a U turn, Milan has Ibrahimovic, Inter has Eto... we can get our hands on one now... and build the team around him, DP is done after this year... the rest of the good players we have will eventually leave if we dont build this team now... when the big teams come knocking for Buffon, Chiellini, Krasic, Quag... i dont know who else we have who is worth being sold... then they have to succumb and go... eventually this faith players have in the team will gradually decline... we will become even more of a shitty team, we wont be able to attract good players... Most of you know that with Aguero we have a chance of getting better players next year hopefully if we make it to the Champions league.

all i said doesnt matter until we really do spend alot of our budget on him, i honestly dont care if we spend 50m on him... im sure he knows his worth, and juve not willing to tempt him and persuade him will only push him further away when another offer comes in... and i think this is whats happening... the money will be recuperated from revenue, the dude oozes class... hes been good wherever hes been, he suits italian football and the Juve jersey will look even more special with his name on the back.

Are you serious? I thought it is pretty clear that he has a release clause of 45 mils. That means an offer of 45 mils is tabled and we are game. ATM management were ready to release for 40 mils so he doesn't stay in Spain (more so in RM)... We had some players to exchange (worth nada to them, but even less to us anyway) and we were talking about 38 mils and we have a deal. Yet it seemed too much for us. Salaries - 50% more than Rossi. Transfer fee - between 5 and 8 mils more(i don't feel like dividing) + Merchandise sales will be bigger as well... and yet you still talk about overpaying??? Fetish is the thought of us spending wisely - and that is proven already beyond any doubt. There is also the topic of our NEXT transfer discussed in my previous post.

the problem here is that apart from monetary issues, he is treating us as 4th choice and on top of it all the league is not appealing to him.
The reality is that unless we sell bloodsuckers like amauri and IQ and unless shitty, real madrid, barcelona or any team who is not italian ignores him, we will not complete this transfer.
He is stalling the move to see if other much more appealing teams bit for him.... and if not, oh well he will have to resign and go to ugly juve.

because of this is more than clear that money is not the only issue here. Something is happening in the background and seems to go beyond marotta´s and agnelli´s hands...and that thing is called better offers, better teams and better leagues. Like i said before.... if all fails... aguero WILL think about juve, if not... well thats it.

And it seems that Juventus dont like to be treated as 4th choice and are already negotiating with Rossi, so....
