Ok so all I have heard is that Atletico are waiting and trying to cause an auction between us, Real, Chelsea and City (this seems likely). Real seem likely to wait for Neymar and apparently Aguero does not want England. Vidal is close apparently, we might be waiting till after the coppa to make it official. IMO if Real doesn't come into it we will have Aguero, the media are just assuming they change their mind every ten seconds. Rossi is all bullshit IMO.

Another guy has said that we have had our offer for Aguero rejected because there is another higher offer from another club.

I don't think we will know anything till after the coppa.

I don't think this deal is happening anymore. Atletico want as close to 45m as possible and us continuously offering +-32m sets the tone to where we value Aguero. It's highly unlikely that all of a sudden we'll offer 40m.

Give them the 45 mil if nothing else works. You have to pay for world class players, otherwise we'll always end up with the Quags and Matris (who are both vey good players, but not the world class we need to get back on top).

I read this morning: At the moment Rossi is our primary target, but if Real Madrid pull out from the Aguero deal or developments occur, then we will get el kun

Somehow, I am tired of this soap opera.
Let's hope Argentina doesn't qualify for the next round of the Copa so we can close this thread soon (and then either open a new one in the players section or at least have certainty he isn't coming)

Yeah, that faintest bit of hope deep down is what sucks the most, even though we're practically certain of not signing him.
