I think another obvious problem is that no top player wants to come to a club that "use to be" an elite football club. If I was a player I would want to go to a club that is winning trophies now and not trying to rebuild what we once had.
Exactly

what about krasic then? obviously these 3 points were not the problem with krasic, and yet the deal was still long?!
If you think Krasic is a world class player then you need to re-assess your definition of what world class is.

Then reply to my posts

U will regret that post in a few years
I welcome that day

I am, yea rite his no aguero or tevez but considering what we had its not so far from it.. Remember he scored quite a few goals and scored that goal against lazio in the 90 th minute :D
If that makes him great then the standards have been lowered tremendously.

That would make Iaquinta great after he saved us a point from Roma back in August of 2008

Unlike iaquinta, krasic can actually dribble
playing the ball 5 metres past the defender and running after it is hardly dribbling ;)

if he actually could dribble he would not need to use his speed as much and could just "walk" past defenders with the ball glued to his feet instead of if his peasant-trick all the time
