I'm still confident on this transfer. Aguero said we are the only team that has put in a bid, and it would look good for us knowing that we BADLY want Aguero and have been chasing him for a while now.

It shows that the club sees him as a massive signing and an important figure for us in the future. He has a very real chance of becoming the heir to a club and world football legend like Del Piero and be the main focal point of the team. If he goes to Real Madrid/Chelsea/City, he will just be one of many star players in a team loaded with them

Lets just hope that we give Atletico the fee they want, and the transfer is confirmed after the Copa.

Marotta offered 32 million + Tiago, but Atletico rejected. Juventus don’t intend to pay the 45 million, but they will still insist on Aguero.

Instead of going to Madrid, Marotta was in Ata Hotel in Milan meeting Pastorello, Rossi’s agent. (They cited Sky).

If Juventus had Aguero and someone offered us 32M + Tiago, I'd take that as an insult.

    We better up our game.

Why is everyone still posting and replying on those figures that are stated in all those newspapers?
There is 0 credibility in them, if we wanted to offer 35 + Tiago 3 days ago and Atletico refused, then why the hell would we go back with a 32 + Tiago deal 3 days later?
Marotta might not be the star of the class, but he isn't that big an idiot either.

Can anyone make sense of this? Martin Palermo said it.

The translation makes sense somewhat, but not completely.
I few days ago with Kun, I talked to him and said he is waiting, if possible, or not Real Madrid or Juventus. I think I know what is best for him. It has one choice, but it depends on what the leaders Atletico will solve "

Well, chances on a CL victory are higher at Real then they are at us at the moment so if he has no Krasic like love for any of those two teams, it seems the more logical choise for short term suc6.
Although I find it really weird that someone who has played for Atletico several years, who is loved there by all the fans, would go to the biggest rival.

    He prefers Real over us?

    http://ecodiario.eleconomista.es/fu...-que-espera-entre-Real-Madrid-y-Juventus.html

Thats the whole article. Do you speak Spanish Melo?
I don't speak Spanish, but judging from how it's put and Palermo's words it's obvious that he prefers Real Madrid.

    Just check this line:
but it depends on what the leaders Atletico will solve "
Why would he say that? Atletico will have no problems with selling to Juventus, it's Real Madrid they have a problem with.

TBH its quite logical he prefers Real, a much better team, more money probably, gets to stay in the country, in the city. Only downside is the Atletico fans.

Palermo is a close friend of Maradona, so it is sure that he will have the same tune as Maradona, but that doesn't change that Aguero prefers Real over Juve for so many reasons, anyway, it has 10% probability him staying in Madrid

In the article he doesnt say that he prefers Real, Palermo said that he spoke with Aguero and that he is waiting to see what the management from Atletico decides between Real and Juve and that he doesnt have a preference... theres no quote from Aguero or Palermo that says that he prefers Real over us.
