Apparently, Atletico are stalling the deal till August, they are waiting for other teams to bid.

It seems like a Spanish bank has given Real Madrid €45 mln loan to sign a player :shifty:
I know you are just getting that "info" off Adam Digby's Twitter account. I wouldn't trust him, he has been wrong about most of Juves transfer targets so far. He's only been right about Inler but everyone knew he wasnt coming here (Sorry Nick)

Twitter is the worst source ever.

I read this morning that Mancini said Juventus are the only team in Italy that can get Tevez and he's already tried trading him with Eto'o but to no avail.

Yet I somehow cannot find him saying that anywhere else.

Digby is wrong. He is saying Atletico want the transfer to drag on throughout the summer so as to encourage a bidding war for the player. I'm pretty sure I've read somewhere that Atleti want this deal done and dusted before the start of their pre-season.

I didn't get it from Digby. I can source it later, but at work now.

What bidding war? They're legally binded to accept all offers of 45m.
