The board meeting should have been last week! We need to have the money given to us now so we can seal the deal, why the fuck are they taking so long?
The board and management are both being incompetent and acting slow as if everything is good! This upcoming meeting is going to tell us how this market going to be

If the Directors of Exor are the ones who are going to decide how much money they are going to spend, then they are the ones who set the schedule for the meetings. Don't bash the management for this.

Our depth in defense is not so bad. There is going to be at least one back up for each position as far as I know. The forwards group will likely be Matri, DP, Aguero (?), Toni. CMs might look something like Marrone/Appelt, Pirlo, Marchisio, Pazienza, Melo/Lass(?). It seems like there will probably be at least one back up for each position except our wings next season. Moreover, we might have the personnel but not good personnel. Players like Toni, Barzagli and Pazienza are just not going to win us points in an injury crisis.
That's mainly where I saw our problem last season (on top of the injury to Quagliarella which made a mess which the club didn't have the resources to fix). They had the job to be a lot of the teams creativity and the left flank sucked, Marchisio was dumped out there too much.

GK: Buffon, Storari, Manniger
RB: Licht, Masiello
CB: Chiellini, Bonucci, Barzagli, Sorensen
LB: Ziegler, De Ceglie
RM: Krasic, Pepe
CM: Pirlo, Melo, Marchisio, Inler, Pazienza, Marrone/Appelt
LM: Bastos, Pasquato
SS: Aguero, DP
ST: Matri, Toni, Quagliarella

Bring back one of Rossi/Pasquato, or both. With Bastos and Pepe to cover both sides our wings will be covered. With Kun our attack will be strong enough. Our wingbacks are good too with Licht/Zieg added...keep Grygera for backup and let Motta go. Pepe is fine for backup. We should really look to incorporate some youth players to get PT when a starter needs rest.

I don't buy the "adding stress to the starting XI" argument, I'm sorry, I just don't. That's their job and if Conte is a good coach he should keep them psychologically strong. We haven't had a strong coach in that regard for some time.

Our depth is fine, we can actually cut some players loose as they are deadweight.
So you're going to use a 2 for the CM slot in the team? I still see the same problems in the wingers actually, same old problem of lack of talent (Pepe), with players who haven't played top flight football on a regular basis.

I don't mean psychological pressure. We need strong options from the bench to win a match.

I changed the squad a bit. The 4-3-3 with those players would be good, even if the Bastos transfer doesn't really make sense to me with that system. Are you arguing for Scudetto or top 3 BTW?

I know that. It's going to determine how much we can spend. So, why couldn't it have been sooner so we can start spending sooner before other clubs get involved in our targets.

Here we are waiting, playing with our thumbs and by the time we get our budget Kun will have signed for Chelsea, for example.

We can't afford to move like slugs.

Juventus will decide on Thursday whether to for Aguero
Among other things, the Italian team that day will decide the amount of money available to address the operation, said yesterday as Giuseppe Marotta, manager of the 'Vecchia Signora'.

The Omen saga will live a new chapter on Thursday. That day he meets on the board of Juventus, the team that sounds like a possible destination next to Madrid's Kun, and taking key decisions on the possible attempt to recruit the striker of Atletico Madrid.

Among other things, the Italian team that day will decide the amount of money available to address the operation, said yesterday as Giuseppe Marotta, manager of the 'Vecchia Signora', which also made it clear they will do everything possible so that produces the signing of "a player that would raise the level of staffing."

Is this reliable?
I'm pretty sure you can believe Christ.

Damn it Sal. Focus.

What do u mean 2 in the CM slot? We have like 5-6 players for the CM roles holmes, I didn't even mention Sissoko or Ekdal.

Our midfield is fine and dandy. Sure, Pepe is talentless but he actually had a pretty good season with us so I am not worried AT ALL if it means he has to play a couple games against teams like Chievo/Bolgona, etc. 442 or 433, either way, we should be more than covered.

I am looking for a top 3 finish. Our goal should be CL as winning league is out of the question I think. Unless by some miracle Conte is a master, we should put our energies in getting back into the CL.

Pepe can be the new Brazzo...unless we sell him and bring another bench player to take that role.

The directors are taking their time for some reason that I don't understand. Such meeting should have been held back in April atleast

If the Directors of Exor are the ones who are going to decide how much money they are going to spend, then they are the ones who set the schedule for the meetings. Don't bash the management for this.
but the management could have informed the board about the situation in the transfer market and how we need to act quickly to get quality! Maybe if they showed urgency, then the directors would held the meeting sooner.

Once we get back into the CL we can use the money to buy a GOOD LB and adding quality to our depth. One thing at a time ladies.
