My 5 cents here are that the boy is worth 45m eur.
Now, the question is if it's smart this Juve, in this particular situation to invest 45m eur on him. In this thread I've seen pros and cons with which I agree so I still can't give a definite yes or no to my question.

If we land Lichtensteiner for a good value then IMO we need to invest in him if we can convince him to come.

DP needs a replacement this year, not next. If we hold out, Sanchez/Kun will both be gone by then.

Agree, the price is certainly a risk in terms of fixing other areas of the team, but not in terms of the player.

I agree with this, it seems this summer there are many potential targets that would be great for us, for sure they won't be available like now next summer.

Since the defense was mentioned, this is how much we spent on it in the post-Calciopoli serie A seasons:

- Bonucci 15.5m
- Andrade 10.5m
- Criscito 7.5m
- De Ceglie 3.5m
- Molinaro 2.5m
- Grosso 2m
- Motta 1.25m loan
- Knežević 0.75m loan
- Gastaldello 0.65m
- Rinaudo 0.6m loan
- Traoré 0.5m loan
- Sorensen 0.45m
- Barzagli 0.3m
- Grygera free
- Salihamidzic free
- Mellberg free
- Cannavaro free
- Caceres free loan
- Camilleri free loan
- Stendardo free loan

Total = 45.5m eur for 20 players or 2.2m eur per player.
Why does Cronios say we have spent 22 M€ on Bonucci?

    Sergio Aguero invites Roma bid

Juventus have made a formal offer for Sergio Aguero, but his agent warns “Roma are ambitious and could come in for him.”
The €45m-rated striker, nicknamed Kun, has told Atletico Madrid he’d like a transfer and the club confirmed it had received a fax from Juve.

“At the moment we can’t rule out any destination for Aguero,” agent Bruno Satin told lasignoraingiallorosso.

“We know that Roma have just changed ownership and their new directors are very ambitious, so they could come in for him with an important cash offer.

“At the moment there has been no contact with director Walter Sabatini.”

The Giallorossi are now owned by American investors, led by Thomas Di Benedetto, and plan big changes over the summer.

“I have spoken often with Sabatini about my players, but can rule out Momo Sissoko and Julien Escudè as Roma targets.”

Sissoko is ready to leave Juventus after a poor season hit by injury problems, while Escudè is a French centre-back who has been at Sevilla since 2006.

Just read that article on FI too, seems like the agent is trying to pimp him out to everyone and see who offers Aguero (and the agent himself) the best deal IMO

Wow his agent is not going to make this easy.

Why don't you promote Sissoko more, cunt?

This is absolutely true..He really is worth it,45million for a proven 23 year old playing for Atletico Madrid is pretty much normal, but this is when the team is not looking to fix that many positions in the team, say if Juve has Balzaretti,Giovinco and Trezeguet still in this team, then getting a 45million Aguero would be perfect. But seeing how our team has only bought back ups (except maybe Ziegler who is considered as starter by MaRATta) and is still in need to fix many at least 2 positions then it would probably be better to get great players who would cost less than Kun..But by God I would love to have Kun in our Jersey,He would be the perfect DP heir..
So in Conclusion Get Neymar plus Inler or Cassani/Isla !!

No doubt, so there won't be any news on this till next week then?
I think this will be going on all summer, so whatever news we'll get by next week won't be anything special IMO.
^^This. Aguero is probably his biggest client so he's going to drag it on as long as he can to get the highest price possible. I don't blame him though, i'd do the same if i were an agent.

Stands to reason I guess, btw, how many pages did the Dzeko thread reach, anyone taking bets on this one to overtake it ;)
