I had to make an account to ask this. Are you all retarded?

How would getting Rossi be a disappointment in any way??????

He's been Italy's most skilled forward for 2 years, is coming off his best season yet for Villareal, and was linked to Barca.....the strongest team in the world.

Villareal supposedly turned down 30+ mln last January for him.

If we get Aguero great. If we get Rossi great. The difference between the two isn't as much as your all making it seem.

Rossi would be our most prominent transfer of the last 5 years hands down.

Aguero>Rossi>Sanchez
quagliarella>rossi

He'd just be a disappointment if we get him instead of Aguero when Marotta is letting us several signs that we're really after the argie. Rossi is still a very good player in my books, even if I doubt the other users here have the same opinion about him.

I would pick Rossi over Sanchez too.

Now, get ready for all the bash you'll get and welcome. ;)

This is how it's a disappointment:
- Looks like this summer we'll spend a lot of money. This will probably be the summer when we'll set the base. We'll buy relatively young and good players and spend the biggest chunk of the money planned for the next 4-5 seasons. To the base set this summer, we will probably add 1, at most 2 players every next summer.
Now, if Rossi is the top class player, the star player we'll buy, then logically the others will be lesser players than him. And if Rossi is Juventus' top star for the next 4-5 years, then I'm afraid we'll not reach the top in those years.
I'd gladly take Rossi to Juve. 18m euro, replace Quag or Matri with him. But for 30m eur to be our star signing, no thank you. Rossi can be the star player in Villarreal, but never in a team that wants to make the top of Italy and Europe. In such team he can only be a starter or a 3rd choice attacker. Never the star.

Bronzetti also said Perez won't move for Aguero.

Bronzetti last week said he hopes Juve sign Aguero now he says Rossi huh? :D

I think this is getting pretty clear.

The repeat of Dzeko, Milito and so on threads? Hope not lets keep humble guys, cant take the disapointment, if some other big club comes in. This is head on the ground and not willy in hands moment.

However, his one of my fave players and cant wish nothing more but to see him here. A true depiction of a dream signing.
