I don't think that interview with Maradona is real, or it has been twisted.
Dunno, but I won't be surprised if it's Maradona's wish Aguero not to play in Italy. Maradona won't be able to visit his nephew in Italy because he'll be arrested for tax evasion , and he was regularly visiting them in Spain. He was in Madrid even when his daughter was giving birth.
It's natural if he advices Aguero not to play in Italy.

Sanchez was always our best bet for a player who is/could become world class. Already in Italy, playing for a team with which we already conducted business way too many times (even last summer) and we could include players in the transfer.
Failing to sign players like Dzeko and Aguero is no biggy but we must do better when negotiating with the smaller serie A teams.
The problem with this is we're going to have to overpay for these sort of players because they're coming from rival clubs. That's why it doesn't pay to buy from them unless they're minnows. But even then, we still have to fork over 12M for a hack like Martinez.

Why can't the board meeting be scheduled sooner? What the hell is taking so long?

I said yesterday, even before the news about Sanchez to Barca...if we are trying to land Kun and put all our eggs in his basket without something on the back burner...what happens when he says no? We already lost Sanchez and it seems like Aguero is ship that never sailed, so no that leaves us dealing with Palermo for a system changing player in Pastore?

I think Andy is right, I see us "trying" for Rossi...and fuck my life if that happens.

we wont buy pastore. we'll be lucky if we end up with mauri, that is the pinnacle of marotta's ability to sign players of that calibre

I don't disagree there too. I'm all for going gung-ho to get him, but what happens when we put up all this effort only to have him say no? Then what? Then who?

Really? :D

Camo.
Well I'm sure we can contact him and find out if he is open to the move before concentrating all our efforts towards.

Obviously, I'd prefer Aguero over Rossi. But why the FML at Rossi? He's still an excellent player.
