Ah, yes, i don't know how i didn't see it.
It says ,
" As for the announcements in Italian and Russian papers about the possible transfer of Lokomotiv's and Serbian national team defender Branislav Ivanovic to Juventus, FC Lokomotiv officially confirms that these info isn't corresponding with the reality.
Football club Lokomotiv didn't have in the past and doesn't have now any contacts with Juventuis about the transfer of Ivanovic. Our club has a long term contract with the player and in this moment we are not interested in selling him to another club "
yay so here we go again.

Just a negotiating position, reminding our board they will have to pay big money because the player has a long contract, so they are not under pressure to sell.

On the other hand, would they bother to deny the story if there wasn't any substance to it. No smoke without fire.

That's what I thought. If a club denied every rumor about one of their players it would never end.

Argh, what the hell, transfer window just closed and the avalanche of rummors starts. Should we prepare for the new very very very close deal and then Chelsea or ManU will snap him in front of Secco's nose. Promote some primavera defender to the senior team, ffs.

Inter Milan assistant coach Sinisa Mihajlovic has voiced his frustration that Juventus are set to secure the signature of Lokomotiv Moscow defender Branislav Ivanovic – a player he has been urging the club to sign for quite some time already. goal.com

Looks like he is set then huh..?or isnt he?

I really believe this guy is a great buy...

Why are we taking sooo long to wrap this deal up??? The more time we take, some team is gonna soon realize that they too need a CB and will obviously outbid us.

Secco in Moscow

Ivanovic Transfer to Juventus 'Unrealistic’

Lokomotiv Moscow have no intention of selling star defender Branislav Ivanovic to Juventus, according to the club’s official website.

The Serbian defender has been linked heavily with the Bianconeri in recent weeks and yesterday spoke of his delight at the chances of a possible move.

“Juve are observing me? This makes me very proud. To know that a great, prestigious club want to sign me fills me with joy.”

However the Russian club seem to have shot down any chances of an imminent move. “The chances of selling Ivanovic are unrealistic. The player has a long-term contract with us and his intention is to respect it. There has never been any negotiations with Juventus,” a club statement revealed.

The 23-year-old is contracted to Lokomotiv until 2011 but it remains to be seen how long they can retain of one of Europe’s most promising young players.

Ivanovic was one of the stars of the European Under-21 Championships during the summer, where his outstanding displays helped take Serbia all the way to the final, where they were defeated by hosts Holland.

Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri is said to be keen on signing Ivanovic during the January transfer window in a bid to tighten up the Bianconeri backline.

Secco doesn't seem to be in a hurry, as he's going to Moscow on the 23rd of September...
Btw, Branislav should be playing with the Serbs tonight in Portugal?
