Boumsong is out for 2 months. Andrade, Legro, Grygera are injury prone. Zebina is injury prone as well as a red card magnet.

We need a defender badly. This kid HAS to be an official Juve player come January 1st 2008.

no he does NOT, there are better players out there, Juve should not be signing no name players playin in russian league wit no experiance in italy
and we should not be listening to advice from ibrabitch fans who have no idea what theyre talking about.
he was very impressive in the u21 tournament. and we do desperately need defensive help.

I'd rather have a defender who's good and experienced now than one who's inexperienced but can become something better later. The club is currently building up Criscito, so I don't see the sense in this.

Edit: And yes I know we are in dire need of defenders, but I don't think 10 million Euros is really a fair price for a prospect. There are more experienced defenders out there available for less or an equal amount of cash.

Screw him, we're getting G.Milito...very very very close. :p

I really liked Ivanovic at the U-21 except for the final but that's just one game. He's got a good header and can score once in a while. He knows how to defend also. :D

The new Ciro Ferrara? :p

Nemanja Vidic has urged Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson to move for his Serbia teammate Branislav Ivanovic. Lokomotiv Moscow defender Ivanovic is the subject of a bid from Juventus, but Tuttosport says Vidic has recommended the 23 year-old to Ferguson, who is considering a move for the stopper. Chelsea are also in the frame.

Ok,so I really hope that Ivanovic will go to England and also I hope that Castillo won't come.We don't need them,if we really need someone that would be a world clss defender.

I would rather have a good non-italian player than who is italian but sucks, and we all know that there is no good available italian defender at the market (please don't mention Canna or Barzagli). And one thing I really hate is double standards you guys have, take look at Barzagli who is by opinions of most of people here a real talent and next Canna but all of you forgets that he is 26yrs. old, but when it comes to Ivanovic he is too old to be a talent and he should be already proven :disagree:

From all what I've red Ivanovic really special (p.s. don't forget that Vidic also came from Russian leauge and before that he played only in Serbia and now is one of the best defenders)

Why didnt we get him in before the end of transfer window... wat i like abou this fella is his ability to play anywhere in defence as we really need cover in the CB/RB position n who knows he could become world class
