Well, I think, Ivanovic could play in a position of central back. I know only that he plays in Lokomotiv like a right back. Always.
So... what can I say... There was a game, in september, Lokomotiv vs. Spartak Moscow. Pavlyuchenko scored twicely, there was 0-2. But then Ivanovic made a two goal passes, and then Loko equalised 2-2. That was a very good by Ivanovic in the derby.

Him on the right and Barzagli in the center are the primary objectives of Juve if we believe what the papers say.

I'd be happy with that.

Praise the Lord. If we have actually secured Ivanovic, then Secco has finally done something to give him a "pat on the back" for.
Not necessarily, 14m euros is a lot for a player we want as a centre-back but IMO he looks more like a right back, Secco might have paid too much!

although you could argue that he has faith in the scouts and thats the man he wants so he will pay up for hi within reason.

Ranieri was in contact with Partizan trainer Miroslav Djukic (He was coaching Ivanovic in U-21 Serbia) so he can help him with transfer to Juventus. And according to Serbian newspapers Raineri has convinced Secco to secure 10.5 milion euros for him.
