I dont think we need to shuffle formations for him. it has never been the case. The formation shuffle is a change needed when asamoah and Licht are not around, at the very least. In case we do that, he could be useful because on the wings he has less defenders to worry about and has space to go bakck and forth if needed.

People also tend to ignore that he has a good cross and a good free kick too. He is not super fast but he has a quick burst of speed , and sometimes thats all the difference between a succesful cross or being tackled by a wingback.

I know that half the forum want to see his azz gone by the end of the season... but it would be a shame that we will sell him at bargain price without even trying something different for him. Now that we have a surplus of strikers we could try more ofthen than not the 4312 with Tevez behind Osvaldo and Llorente,,,, or use Gio as a sub in a 433.

The point i wanna make is that 352 is bollocks without our 2 workhorses on the wings. And thats not saying that Licht and Asa are the best there...but our formation is sooo dependan on their work... that when we use isla and Peluso...all goes to shid, even with Vidal, Pirlo,Pogba,Marchisio onthefield.

Playing 352 with Isla and Peluso makes everyone work on the double to try to create chances and to try to clear their fuck ups
If we're going to play 4-3-3 next season, which i doubt, i don't see Marotta selling him on such a loss.

Also, Gio as a second striker is a joke. He's easily outpowered by defenders and doesn't exactly have the pace to overcome them by either. So yeah, in the 3-5-2 he obviously sucks bad, with or without our workhorses.

Gio as SS is a waste of time. For us and for him.

If he stays, and thats a big IF, it would be because Conte told him about a formation chage or something, but I dont think that Conte and him have the most open of the relaTions, so the change should come now, or he must go at the en d of theseason

Giovinco: I deserve to play more

"I'm worth more than the minutes I've played so far but those who play more regularly are making a lot of progress," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

"It's fair to point out Tevez and Llorente are doing well. In the past I used to play, but now others are playing more. Carlos is humble and positive."

Giovinco was booed by sections of the Juventus fans after being substituted recently and was comforted by Conte, but the Italy forward is refusing to dwell on the incident.

"When you're booed, it's ugly, but it's part of the game. I'm calm because I always try to do better. Sometimes I succeed, sometimes I don't.

"Conte was almost paternal. I appreciated the gesture, but he would do the same with any other player.

"Conte is demanding and always thinks about using the right training techniques to win. It was so last year and it is now."
