I won't defend what the fans done but Giovinco has spoken ill of Juventus and Del Piero numerous times. He's not some poor lad who's trying his best and not cutting it. He was a dick at Parma where Juve were concerned

Publicly announcing he'll celebrate against us etc etc.

I can't wait until he's out of this club, I will be so happy.
You believe in any of that? If he spoken bad about Del Piero, you really think he'd be in Juventus by now, surrounded by many of Ale's friends? This whole "he didn't call me" BS just keeps getting bigger and bigger for every year.

And he scored like 5 times against us and never celebrated once.

Stop making BS up. He's not good enough, there is your reason for wanting him to leave.

Was overwhelming booed by the fans on Sunday, every time he lost the ball most of the fans seethed at him, he clearly isn't liked
Give him the #10 shirt next season as that way it'll weigh so much that the ground will swallow him up. Then we'll claim off the insurance. Job done.

I can safely say I've never booed a player in my life, regardless of who they play for.

This isn't out out some great principled stand.

I just think you sound silly shouting 'boooooo' at the top of your voice.

Different if you whistle, but I'm no good at whistling.

I stick to the classic volley of abuse to get my views across. :)

Still, I do think being overly abusive of your own players is likely to be counter-productive.

Sebastian Giovinco, in an interview to Il Corriere dello Sport, returns to talk about his departure from Juventus, and his approach to Parma, team in which he looks like he found his right dimension.

Probably in the emilian club the "Atomic Ant" felt immediately an important player, as the player from Piemonte himself explains: "Here I feel responsabilized. As everybody I need continuity, but this can really be my year. It was important to return against Roma, it gave me important signals. [...] To the question as what he thinks about his past at Juve, where he's been one of the fan's biggest hopes, about a possible return, he has clear ideas "If I ever think to Juve? Absolutely not." [...] "Del Piero? No, we didn't talk at all. Well, it's not like when I was at Juve we talked. He never looked for me. Probably he just doesn't like me, no?"

---

But more than that, I whink was his behaviour to the fans at the stadium who made people go mad about him. He never accept any criticism, and as soon as he scores a shitty goal he makes polemic celebrations or gestures, even when he is subbed like Sunday. That's pretty sad by him, tbh, and there's not to be surprised if someone jeers him.

No I am serious.Booing your player is not right mentality. You might not applaud him but no booing until he is wearing our jersey.Thats too low.I am the first who is asking Juve to sell Gio immediately and that he is no Juve material, but booing,no.Thats it.

The boooing might provide helpful in him wanting out and us selling him, so its fine. Footballers are extremly fortunate and make millions, when they fail to perfom and on top of that comes of as arrogant and bitter towards the club, its understandable that supporters become frustrated. The notion that supporters should never booo or criticise the club or players is wrong. When ppl spend time and money supporting juve they also has the right to make their opinions heard.

He was joking when he said that about Ale, I've been through this like 100 times.

I'm over this discussion. He's shit here and both us and him need to move on.

I never said anything to criticize my beloved club. With booming you show that you hate somebody. And that person is playing for your club.So its the same that you are booing your club and looks stupid in the eyes of the supporters of the another club.Yes players make money but also they bring money to the club. And they make money because they have the skills that ordinary people doesnt. And of course fans are paying the money for the games.Thats their decision .They choose to watch football match instead to go fishing or to drink beers in some pub. They choose what makes them happy. They can criticize some players(I am biggest criticizer of Gio) but you cant boo him .Its public and is low.

Meh, whether it's disrespectful or not, in general booing or jeering someone isn't going to help them play better, which is why I don't understand people doing it to their own players. There are other ways to voice criticisms, save the jeering for the opposition.

Of all the games I've been to, Raul's Schalke demolishing Inter is the only time I've felt I've seen a great performance from a great player.

He always makes me remember del piero, in the way how good both were in what they did, and were untouchables simbols of their clubs but ended their relantionship in not the best way possible.

Luckily for raul, he got the recognition he deserved. Im still waiting for the good bye del piero deserved

I think the outpour of raw emotion from the entire stadium during an actual competitive game against Atalanta, where the focus was solely on him and not the actual game once he was subbed off will be far more meaningful than any organised testimonial or friendly game.
