I love that when he loses the ball he always takes that long run back and chases the player and gets back on defence.

Seems to show more for the ball when Mirko isn't in. I think our play usually goes through Mirko when he is playing, but Gio did well to show for the ball as often as possible.

Hated his game at the start of the season but he is playing much better now. Very valuable member of the team.

The great thing about him is his effort, it really shows that he is a Turin boy. I think that with Marchisio this guy appreciates playing for Juve the most.
