Gio is better than Quag and the haters will eventually eat their words.
That's not true. Not even statistically over their careers. Bar the last season and a half that was hampered by Quags injury and lack of continuity. IMHO if anything, he (Quag) is the more effective player.

But that said, I feel like Gio is going to come in at some point tonight and explode.

Gio is still a good few years younger, in years to come when both players have retired we will look back and Gio will be known for being a much better player. I like Quag and dont like having to compare i'm just trying to defend Gio not be critical of Quag.

Yea sure, I understand. What I mean is, when you look at the course of their careers and their consistency or lack thereof, you can tell which way their careers are likely to end up. For me personally, I think this stint at Juve is Gio's last shot at living up to his well documented potential. If he fails this season, for me his career will probably be somewhat similar to Miccoli's if he stays in Italy, and if he goes international, to the Epl or La Liga, then a bit like Robinho.

I hope it works out for Gio though coz I feel like he got the short end of the stick during his time at Juve, before Parma came along.

I'm sure he'll score tomorrow. It's just about time he does. Our best striker at the moment, let there be no doubt about that. Our fastest and most skilled dribbler. His finishing is just fine, that overhead kick against Lazio was sex.

This guy just needs a little bit of luck and self-confidence, that's it. He'll get it tomorrow I feel it.

Forza Gio. :xfinger:
