What do you mean by "other half"? They had an option to buy 50% of his contract and I believe that's what they did here. It was expected. I believe that Juve still own half of the contract.
I think they already owned 50% of Giovinco in a co-own deal - don't think it was just a loan - and now have bought the rest

Imagine if they did own 50% of his contract and Marotta sold the other half for 3m.
This forum would have already been down and 1/4 of the members would have hanged themselves already :D

Btw, when will the co-ownership day be? I think it's soon, right?

I wonder if we'll make a gentlemen deal with Parma and decide Seba's future for season 2011/2012 or if everything will go to blind bidding.

Why the fuck would we agree to let them pay those 3m in 3 years? Fuck them, if they can't pay that 3 million right now then no deal and we take him back. Why make it easier?

Lol, no :)

They loaned Seba from Juve last summer with an option to buy half of his contract for a set price this summer. That's what they did today.
oh, I see, my bad ... the way it worded on the tmw site made me think they got all the rights on the player now.

I have to say I was a bit surprised that the forum hadn't gone down in flames already ... now I see why :D

There is probably much more into it than what we see. It's not a coincidence that we had 3 of our players loaned to Parma (Giovinco, Amauri, Palladino). The first two actually saved Parma from being relegated.
Imo we're in very good relations with Parma and we can take Seba back to Juve if we want to (and if he wants to), without losing much or anything in the process.

Parma won't play dirty against us. If we want Seba they'll let us have him back. What we need to be scared of is Marotta.

What about Year 2 when Juve sell 50% of Giovinco for 11mill after he shines?
