Good question JCK. I understand the anger and the general sentiment that prevails; however, I by no means condone it, in fact I condemn any use of force or violence in the name of religion.

If Jesus can be ridiculed and Christianity placed under scrutiny, as is the case with other religions and faiths, I don't understand why Islam and its flag bearer the Prophet Mohammed (Peace be upon his soul) cannot be subjected to the same treatment. The cartoons are a joke, and should be viewed as just that. However, what ensued resulted in unwarranted fanfare, and if anything, further tarnished the image and reputation of Islam.

I'm more spiritual than religious, and believe that people should be free to believe in and practice whatever they want, without being subjected to aggression and unnecessary pressure by organized religious institutions.
To comment directly on your statement below:

Touchy, are we? :p I can never miss an opportunity to discredit organized religion, as I believe it's one big practical joke.
I am really intrigued if you would also not miss an opportunity to discredit organized religion if the religion in question was Islam.

Good article. True as well. Conte himself needs to call the guy and tell him exactly what and how he will be used should he come back. Give the guy something to make him feel more secure in making the decision.
If Conte really wants him then he should ask Del Piero to call him.

Sestu is more like Pepe, but more of a forward (skill, shooting), Brienza is a purely attacking player. So your answer is between the two.
Well those may just be the players who were at his disposal. Krasic is a certainty but I think it will be interesting to see who he requests for the left side.

He had others but they were the favoured from what I saw. Wide men who cut inside on their stronger foot was more of the issue than their style.
