-No one denied he's a cry baby
-Cassano is only underrated here
-Not 2 matches

It's so not true.
It is two or three matches cuz last year Giovinco was one of our most productive players on the team. He was second overall in assists in just 1/3 of the season(1300 minutes) for our team. How do you explain that? He had more assists then WC players like Gerrard and Cesc had in a full season. For me that is an exceptional player.

The guy is not overrated, he is good and I wouldn't trade him for Cassano. Maybe for a WC player but for me Cassano isn't that.

I just have a feeling he's going to fail to deliver or in other words he might be good for mid-table clubs. His play is just too simple and he gets stopped easily. I hope he proves me wrong soon.

Alen,

Ok.

Anyway, Giovinco would be second overall in the Premier League with the assists he had last season. That is really impressive.

It's not as simple as it seems to assume that if he played a full season, with the full complement of minutes, he would be able to keep that pace up.

You also have to consider at what points in the game did he get those assists in question.

Did he get them during a full 90minute match, did he get them late in the game when he was a late substitution, thereby having the advantage of being a fresh body on the field when everyone else has played a full 60 minutes.

In the 11 games that he started he had 2 goals and 5 assists. Not bad right? Consider who he did his damage against in those games where he did start.

Goals- Bologna, Lecce
Assists- BATE (2), Bologna, Roma, Catania

His vision isn't so great, passing is good only when it comes to short-distance but when it comes to one-on-one he gets beaten way too often. It's like all know what he's going to do.
His only problem is his physic. Not vision. neither passing, neither speed nor anything else.

So now you are changing the argument to him not being good enough for a full game? Dude, c'mon, you obviously don't like the kid. Who cares about at which point of the game he made those assists? It shouldn't matter cuz he is good enough to create chances for his team mates. 7 points(Goals+assists) in 11 started games is pretty impressive.

Right, I obviously don't.

You got me all figured out.

Do some research on my posts in this thread before you make assumptions.

My point is and always been, that he doesn't have the physicality to withstand a full season playing 90 minutes a game every week

And it does make a difference to when he has made assists when he has come on as a substitute. he has the distinct advantage of going into a situation where he is fresh against competition which is at a much different level of fatigue.
